i am n97 fan here
if apple new iphone has 5MP autofocus, len cover, xenon flash decent camera that stops me from buying a camera, i will consider it
and it has front camera for ichatAV, skype video calling
it has blutooth file tranfering (any type of file)
loud decent speaker
1GHZ 256ram
finder file manager in iphone
safari download plugin
i hate jailbreaking, it is not good and unofficial and illegal
video recording
and multitasking(if no i still can live with it)
iif it comes true, i'll say it is a good phone!! the current iphone 3g not worth the money!!! apple fans!!!!!!!! i am owning ibod touch, so i lknow what the iphone lacks

I have nokia n95 8gb now and thinking of... moreyou N95 user, why not wait for N97 released in June, it has what you need!
iphone:
no removable battery, because apple want to offer you good design
no loud speaker, not going to happen in next iphone
n97 is not badly designed. the sliding mechnism is solid,
if you go from n95 to iphone 3g, you will lose some useful little things that cant be found on iphone!!!

Iphone users!!!
I have nokia n95 8gb now and thinking of getting iphone 3g. Do you think it's a smart decision?? The main reason for shifting is ....iphone's sleek touch UI and its built-quality.
My current n95 is not bad at all. It does exactly what it claims to. But it's littl laggy, same old boring symbian OS and of course same old cheap, wobbly, plasticy built-quality.
The only thing holding me to shift is ..nokia's two stereo speaker which is very loud...(sound quality is so-so though). I need loud speaker ...not for listing music but for alarm clock. I am always on the move and I heavily depend on my phone's alarm.I dont want to carry alarm everywhere i go. So this damn nokia n95 never fails to wake me up on time. Its really loud.
I know, iphone is kinda quiet. May be i should wait for new iphone...hopefully coming out this summer with setero speaker & fix existing sound problem. Any suggestion???

If I wanted to carry 2 things I wouldn't have dumped my N82 in a drawer, maybe I'll let my dog play with it and put it on Youtube either that or microwave it.

I prefer my noise isolating Shute headphones as I have consideration for others.
When I get home I place my iPhone in it's dock on my 5.1 system and pump out 150 watts per channel through Bose speakers and a 200 watt 12 inch active sub.
My sons friend was showing off how loud his N73 music edition was and poking fun at my iPhone, until I plugged it in and pumped the volume so the whole house shakes, pure, crystal clear with no distortion whatsoever.
That's how I roll!
