All this arguing would be mildly amusing if there was any rational thought behind most of these "i hate (fill in the brand of phone here)" arguments. Hopefully all of you realize that your choice of mobile phone does not make you smarter, bette, cooler, richer or anything actually other than the owner of a mobile phone.

Ipod is doing well :
A couple of new reports indicate that Apple has started mobilizing parts for their next generation iPhone. A Commercial Times report claims that Taiwan-based component suppliers have started shipping parts for the new Apple iPhone that is expected to begin shipping in June.
Meanwhile, DigiTimes claims that Apple has already placed orders for 100 million 8 Gigabit NAND Flash chips (mostly) from Samsung Electronics. This large order could tighten worldwide supplies of Flash memory.
While the iPhone was not specifically cited as the reason for the large order, the timing seems to correspond to rumors of a new iPhone refresh this summer.

why many people said it's big multimedia??????? my opinion iPhone just have:
1 vivid user interface + touch screen
2 OS Mac X
3 iPod + iTunes
4 and 8/16 GB memory
5 3G and WiFi
and the most fantastic you believe in my country iPhone price is $1000(for 16 GB)?????

Anonymous, 09 Apr 2009that just started. in canada where i live, it's not even po... morehow many ipods can access data outside of wifi enabled areas? so thats email, browsing, downloading apps while out and about (and dont say you can jjust do that while in wifi, sometimes you need something remotely) maps, oh and it can make calls send texts, it makes 2 devices into 1, even before the iphone i had a mp3 capable phone and still wouldnt go anywhere with out my ipod.
so i guess you have a good argument or something.

does it have gps navigation? -yes, but no voice instructions.
is this any different than an ipod touch? - yes, you can make gsm calls with it, as against the ipod touch, that's why it's called an iPHONE.

A single phone has a 17.3% market share. Sure Nokia has the largest, but look at its output, look how long its been in the industry. The iPhone OS is winning people over by the millions.
If the iPhone is so rubbish and inferior why is it the yardstick to beat?
