And another thing. I can speak n write 3 languages , n most ppl now days can speak atleast two..... Point is.... Wifi internet surfing without full international language support?? Useless........ Iphone supports so many languages straight out of the box

Well.. As a proud owner of factory unlocked 3g iphone, im pretty happy with mine. FYI im typing from my phone. I used to be a heavy nokia fan, and i still am. Nokia covers all aspects of spec to a medium standard. (apart from msging..nokia rulz in mms) but everyone has different needs. My needs were fast interface and wifi. No phone beats iphone in this area. When i first got it, i hated it cuz of limitations, but i soon dis covered the convinience of nokia was not essential. Im very much happy with apple limited apps. My recommendation is if fast internet n interfece is what u need, iphone is the one. Winmo is too damn slow for me lol. If its txting ur after get E series. Camera? Get a canon digicam!!! (most of them r smaller than phones now lol)

to those who think you can buy a decent camera for photo, why dont you ask apple not to upgeade their camere, just stick to 2MP
ifans dont need mms, cause they have MAil, why dont ifans complant about the apple adding MMS to os3.0?
same with the A2DP, Multitask...........

i dont carry camera with me all the time, so a good 5MP carlzeiss leen is good for me. i want a all-in one phone.
why dont youbuy ipod touch+ basic phoen+ good camera + macbook for flash movie..+ a large bag

i bet you use your phone to nake video of your clownself, and your phone's camera to catch your face to post it on friendster.. hehe thats why a phone's camera is so important to you... haha!

- copy paste...coming true on 3.0 update
- video recording w/o jailbreak .... still hopeful
- even nicer cam/lens with flash (current one nice for a 2mp so hoping upgraded one will be even better)
- bring back the aluminum cover pls ... plastic looks nicer but not as durable also a fingerprint magnet and having a hardtime w/ the bodyguard skin. =(
- bluetooth a2dp (i dont really use this but would be nice to have just in case. Quite unclear on the 3.0 update whether actual file transfer from phone to phone will be available coz it just says stereo streaming)
- 2ndary front cam for skype video calls =P
- flash/java support on safari
- nicer and louder speakers

I recently heard that the not yet released firmware update,the Iphone OS 3.0 have a video recording and editing features... Is this applicable for the currently Iphone 3G or the rumoured upcoming Iphone?

buy a new one, app... morethe battery if faulty and within Apples Warranty can be returned and you can have the battery replaced.
Or A MAC repair place can do it. OR your provider can get it sent away and have the battery replaced. You dont have to replace the phone. Dont talk unless you know what you are on about.

Hi,could anybody tell me that my iphone 3G is original unlock or not? the model: MB496X and Serial Number : 88909NMUY7K. I bought from local shop in Cambodia and the owner said it is original unlock, so pls help me to find out it is true or not?

If he said 'Come on guys, at least I didn't have to carry two devices around, plus it fits in my pocket' they would laugh some more and fire him on the spot.
The whole 'I don't like carrying three devices around' argument is a joke. You will never (at this point in time) get as good images on a phone, as a camera, especially when they are doing all they can to make the lenses as small as possible. If that was a logical evolutionary step, why do SLRS still have great big telescopic on them? The same goes for video.
Now don't go saying 'well I only need mid range quality' because then that puts your argument on personal preference, not on the phone's quality.
Anyway, my pants have four pockets, one for my iPhone, one for my wallet, two spares. God gave me two shoulders to carry my camera and/or video camera bag, plus hands to hold them.

Btw, I noticed you brought up that plan vs outright point again... we've been through this, the iPhone is cheaper. This isn't a forum on carriers. If yours charge you heaps, thats your problem, but if you are doing price comparison, deal in raw handset.

Trufocus means everything in a photo is in focus, there is no need for autofocus.
