video record and multitasking is not enough to make a phone better. iphone has better user interface, speedwise, capacitive touchscreen, better videoplayer, better musicplayer, better internet browsing, 3G speed, conference call, sms easy text copy cut paste, phone's material quality, 15,000 useful apps, gps softwares... these can make a phone better.

i like the iphone 3g touch user interface but the things i don't like about the iphone is the lack of multitasking and the video recording... They are going to release the new OS 3.0 but it still lacks these two features.... That's why i think nokia 5800 is better.

Could anyone in this forum, tell me when is th... moreAs a rule, Apple don't let people know what they are working on and release dates until they have the product ready for launch. This doesn't really apply to OS 3.0 as it has technically been released, just not on a consumer level.
With that said, no one knows when the new iPhone will be released. Rumours are circulating that the new iPhone will make an appearance at the World Developers Conference, in June, (hopefully) with the release of 3.0. Others suggest that Apple will wait til later in the year, closer to the end date of contracts signed when the 3G came out.
Technically Apple haven't even announced that a new iPhone is on the cards (correct me if I'm wrong) and whilst likely and expected, everything remains in speculation.
The thing to consider is that OS 3.0 is almost a new phone in itself. The updates that are on the cards are going to completely change the phone we currently own, plus its a free update. It almost eliminates the need for a new handset altogether. Camera, storage space, size and screen resolution are really the only physical attributes that they could address, and personally, I get by without them now, they aren't majorly outdated features.
When it comes down to it, if you are always waiting for the latest phone you will never end up getting one, because technology just keeps getting updated. The best advice one can give is find a phone that fills all the needs you require, and go with it. I'm personally quite satisfied with my iPhone, and the fact that Apple will keep bringing out software updates to make it better.
So if you like the iPhone, but are waiting for the next model, I'd say don't bother. If you look back to the iPhone 2G and the 3G, sure, there are differences, admittedly, the 3G is better, but the be all and end all of the iPhone has to be its superior UI and OS, isn't restricted to their latest model. Apple take care of their customers, lol.

The SDK and iPhone OS 3.0 beta 2 was just released, it's for testing purposes and. Of advisible to install on your main phone.

hi guys. i just want to ask if it's possible to use a sun cellular simcard in an iphone locked by globe? is there a possibility that u can have it opened line? wouldnt it be ruined or something if you had it done in like greenhills or something? i'd very much appreciate your reply. thanks!

2.2.0 and 2.2.1 is not a big update, they say just fixes bugs, i did not notice it at all. so no need for you to update to 2.2.1
