i also installed a "bodyguard" screen protector. try using it. it totaly protects your iphone, its a full body screen protector.
the software installed was originally 2.1 before when i bought it, but i already updated it to 2.2.1
try updating yours, i believed you have the unlock version.
to be sure check the part number in your iphone settings.. the box also has it, but to be sure, check it in the settings.

eye phone IIIG, 30 Mar 2009i bought my iphone yesterday...they say it is unlocked,any ... moreif you bought iphone box is still sealed with plastic, then you can still used any sim, its the unlock version, it was never opened for sure, it was originally made unlock.
what other stores do is they buy a network locked iphone, they opened the box, and unlocks it by software then put it back to the box and sell it.if opened already box seal will be broken. it cannot be sealed again.

they are selling iphone unlocked version. box is still sealed with plastic, never opened when they delivered. that is why i knew it was unlock version. i guess you also has the unlock version, we have same part number, both came from italy.

i bought my iphone yesterday...they say it is unlocked,any sim/ carrier.i dnt know if my iphone is legally unlocked,i have no guts to update..coz it might lock! kindly help me..thanks! any comments on how to know that my phone is official unlocked?

so far 2. o cant forward message and cant send sms and you cant bluetooth to other friends but 3.0 will be able to do that
