Anonymous, 22 Jan 2009Nokia developed something better than this.. 5800 music exp... moreI'd rather read all the comments of the people using the 5800 to see what problems it has.

There seem to be quite a few such as very poor camera quality, rising and falling call volumes requiring a trip to a service centre with a brand new phone and difficulties with installing applications among other things.

Thanks for you recommendation but I think I'll give it a miss.

I cannot understand why so many people think this is such a great phone. You obviously have very low expectations of what a good phone is. I need a phone that is a good phone, I do not need to watch videos on youtube and use worthless applications(I have an ipod touch I know what I am saying). My girlfriend has this phone when it came out and it was a pure nightmare. When it actually worked it was a mediocre phone. No stereo bluetooth? What in the world is apple thinking? It is a great media device and the OS is amazing, not too mention the touch screen is the best I have used. But as a phone, this this is 2nd rate.

I honestly think the iphone is a great phone. I work for Optus and i used to hate it lol but i just love how its like a computer, can view anything you like on the net, gps, and omg at the app store i love it. Its different to other phones and thats what makes it special. yes it doesnt have bluetooth or a good camera or mms but there are ways around that by emailing your pictures instead. If some people really depend on a good camera or features that it doesnt have then buy another phone simple as that. The iphone is just a phone on its own and its awesome the app store and functions is what keeps it at top.

And according to said user experience, what was is that the official GSMArena review said? 52% Having problems with the audio in one form or another. Now I'm no expert, but something tells me sound clarity is a big feature in music players and mobile phones, and the XpressMusic is both!

As our extensive debating has proved, rebuttals will be dealt to all who play fanboi to Nokia, its just the way it is :)

Word came out that the 2.3 firmware update will be available some time in April. Earlier leaks stated that copy/paste is going to be included in the update. But recent, more reliable posts, no longer mention copy/paste being on the list. It did not say that it won't be included either. There was just no mention of it. I really hope that copy/paste would be included. I am really getting tired of having to retype every time I need to copy a phrase or something from notes, or from a website, or from an SMS. If copy/paste is not included in the 2.3 update, I'll get my iphone unlocked and sell it, and then I'm switching to Palm Pre or the N97. I can live with the iphone's 2mp camera. I don't care for MMS and SMS forwarding (especially if there's copy/pate). No BT file transfer is a non-issue for me. But the only missing feature of the iphone that really irks me, is the absence of copy/paste. I will miss the iphone when that happens, but I think the Palm Pre or the N97 are the only worthy alternatives for the iphone. But of course I'd rather keep my iphone, so I'm crossing my fingers for copy/paste.

As for flash support, get real, you don't need it on a phone. YouTube is enough for me. I browse the web everyday on my iphone and having no flash support never made any notable difference :)

navid, 20 Jan 2009iphone is surely a good phone with lots of excitement worki... moreYour concerns a very old news my friend. Where have you been? All phones have missing features and the iphone is no exception. It's all about weighing what's more important for you. Example #1, I don't care if the iphone only has a 2mp camera because I have an awesome Canon camera that I prefer to use even when I had my N95. Example #2, I only need BT for hands free calls. I rarely sent files via BT with my N95, I use email more frequently.

Now if you are like me, and don't really care much for those features, then you will be happy with the iphone because it offers so much other cool features that will use more often than those missing ones, not to mention its topnotch interface. But, if BT file transfer and higher megapixels mean the world to you, do not get the iphone and get the HD instead. It wouldn't have the app store, it wouldn't have multi-touch features, it wouldn't have great legibility under direct sunlight, wouldn't have a great music player, it would have a slower web browser, it has an erratic and unresponsive touchscreen, it doesn't have a scratchproof glass display, it doesn't have a sleek interface, BUT, you can BT transfer files the whole day =) So go for the Touch HD.

i love htc touch HD too,but does a winmobile has programs like iphone or not?if it has,i surely got htc touch HD or 4Gmax.(bigger screen,5mp camera,BLUETOOTH...)
