No camera can be described as "crap" if the photo's it take's bring joy to the recipients.

It's like saying the works of Van Gogh are no good because the brushstrokes are all thick and blurry.

nick, 03 Jan 2009er no, they're crapWould you care to elaborate?

I like the pictures I took of the fireworks at Sydney on New Years Eve with my iPhone.

The people I emailed them to liked them, the people at work liked them when I loaded them onto a PC.

I have received nothing but positive comments on Facebook and Flikr where I uploaded them to directly from the iPhone.

      Why are they crap...

...because you heard it somewhere and jumped on the bandwagon?

cpw, 03 Jan 2009i have an iphone 3g and it is the best damn phone ever bar ... more i love my iphone soooo much!! anyways, you might want to try to have your fone jailbroken so you could download stuff from cydia; the stuff there is AWESOME!

anyways, i recently got hold of a program for iphone called "copier". it solves the copy-paste issues by having text from notes, sms, or contact details or emails converted to whichever way you'd want (as mentioned above).

example. you could open a contact, copy the fone number and export it as text. even get something from your notes and send it as sms or email or whatever.

So try tapping on the address bar on the top of safari, notes - tap on the note pad, if there is a field to fill out on a website tap on it.

would be the best phone if it had the following:

                        • SMS contact groups
                        • MMS
                        • better camera
                        • much better battery life
                        • copy and past
                        • possibility to accept or send contacts via sms

After 5 month using the iPhone I just bough a W610i for day to day and use iPhone as palm replacement as the basic phone features and battery time is just not good enough

                                    So stfu.

I can email pictures like these and cc as many contacts as I want to add for less than one cent.

On my old phone I could send a picture to ONE contact for FIFTY cents.

So who is getting ripped off?

People can send me an MMS to my email address and I will get it on my iPhone OR if they send it directly to my phone my network provides a link so I can retrieve it using Safari, they even provide a reply link.

I have not had a chance to test it yet because in the six months since I got an iPhone no-one has sent a single MMS, all my friends use email because they have smartphones not dumbphones.

Please stop complaining about MMS and Bluetooth.

In the 273 pages of opinions you weren't the first to mention it, everyone here has read it again and again and don't need to hear it ANY MORE!

Why don't you write to Apple if it's that big of a deal? I'm sure they have a complaints section somewhere where they can read the thousands and thousands of emails and letters saying:
"OMG you has no MMS and Bluetooth! ZOMG you fail!"

And I'm sure they really care.

Complaining about it's lack of Bluetooth and MMS is quite funny if you actually BOUGHT it then found out it didn't have it. Why didn't you do your research and find out the phones specs before buying it?
