i do agree with you though that the softwares of the iphone can be easily dowloaded because of apple.
you can also update softwares of symbian os. just got to search it.
Again as i have said before...PREFERENCE.

iphone is superior to any smartphones? hahahaha. nope. it only has fast connection to the media. thats about it. thats nothing to boast about.
iphone is a beauty?...suuuuuureeeee. I got tired of my phone. the shape looks like a calculator. nothing really changed from the first iphone to the second iphone. just the 3g connection. the n93i is a beautifully designed as a multi media equipment. innov8, lg's high end cameraphones, experia1, n97, n96, nokia tube, bb storm, omnia....etc...etc... are well equipped with features.
who would want to carry an iphone and a camera when out in public nowadays? An all-around smartphone is much more convenient which leads to the n-series, experia1, touchpro, nokia tube. etc...etc.
Overall apple made money due to the people buying the iphone because of the name brand. little they did know it is not all that. so in reality by subracting all the returns and defects, the profit margin is less.
the fact of the matter is the iphone is not worth it unless apple really upgrades it by changing the design and features. Put an iphone and an n97 infront of me, i will take the n97 anytime.

the simplistic design is just amazing..
n93i design is not that good its bulky and big and heavy..

iPhone ,, or maybe most macs gadgets has good and futuristic elegant design, which makes me loves it..
keep it simple is all we need these day not fancy looking phones..
see iPhone obsession series and you'll see what beauty is..
anyway saying that symbian is worst then the iPhone mac os X is not completely true..
symbian has some advantages, but i still prefer mac os x..
mainly because you can update softwares, installing them easily..
more stable and faster..
but symbian is OK,, for all rounded phones i prefer RIM's BB...

It also involves jailbreaking your iPhone which can damage it and void the warranty so you would do it at your own risk.

i have my iphone and nokia n95 at the same time..
they are like my children.. and i belive in favoristism...
iphone is much genius than my nokia...
so my nokia was stnad by on his pouch..iphone do the workings...
iphone is elegant while my nokia i very common..
in fairness to my nokia,it has some features that iphone doesnt have...but still it cannot compare for iphones brain and accessability...
iam nokia fanatic but since ive got iphone i have change my mind...nokia is my first love in mobile trends but it doesnt mean that i will not open my eyes to love another mobile that deserve to love more and it is iphone.hahahaha!
final verdict: IPHONE- i cant lieva day without it.period!

-symbian OS has many capabilities just like the MAC os. I guess you lack knowlege of the Symbian OS. Speaking of high tech, the n-series are far more high tech than the iphone due to the all-around capabilities. Again, the iphone is just a media device, not an ALL AROUND SMARTPHONE.

-Iphone has brain and beauty...lol..this is a good joke. ONCE AGAIN, the iphone is just a media device with fast connection, not an ALL Around SmartPHONe like the n-series ( which is a "Brain"). Have you seen and/or experience the n93i, in which it is designed like a mini-camcorder? You can twist and turn it for video and camera. (Now, that is beauty). The iphone's shape is tiring to look at because it is plain and looks like a calculator, and price of it is not worth it. Not all people are fond of the iphone so they prefer nokia or samsung or SE.
i have a jailbroke iphone and a few n-series that are awesome smartphones. I know both the symbian and mac os.I prefer my n95 over my iphone.
