stonecold, 20 Nov 2008'Interesting, I take it you are using Windows (American tec... moresymbian is not japan's tech,,
winmo IS US tech...
US tech sux then winmo sux,,
windows too, and i think u use windows as your os??
even linux is US,, get rid of your com and even stop using internet dude its US'
think be4 you talk..
compare pro and iPhone..
pro is a better device for business or adult workers, but unfortunately the hardware is not good enough to support the software,, it freezes lots of time,, although this has been winmo prob for a long time..
have you ever use one??
i've use both pro and iPhone so i know what i talks about..
for me i prefer iPhone since i DONT use the features pro has,, and i believe many of people buying Pro and other PDA phone with their fancy features never really use it

There's a new App called Orb Live, I can now access over a terabyte of files from my PC and watch streaming live TV from my tuner card.
I can access from a wireless network or over 3G.

I've had it on my last three phones and found it to be a useless novelty.

ViL, 19 Nov 2008don't u know how many people thinks that omnia is really ba... moreViL,Yr mannerism in taking up a comment against yr likings is noted & appreciated. If all of us could take up Constructive denigration in the spirit of it, the world would become a better place to live in.
As I have already avowed in my previous msg, Iphone was the trail blazer in the area of touch phones. Of course it has certain features which are far ahead of the competition, still. Nevertheless assimilate the following iphone shortcomings and u will appreciate my observation.
1)No video calls over the 3G network
2)Camera has neither auto focus nor any settings at all.Only 2 MP. Absolutely no chance that u could compare with 5MP shooters, the like of Omnia. Of course I have seen the Iphone gallery & am not impressed. (No Offence pls)
3)Bluetooth support limited to headset use only
4)No office document editor
5)You cannot sync Notes and TO-DOs
By the way I am not a businessman but am a professional in another vocation. Play with yr choice & enjoy. After all it is not a bad choice.

Entigra, 20 Nov 2008This phone is absolutly fantastic - OUT OF THE BOX no it do... moreYour average Joe can plug one into iTunes, it doesn't take a rocket scientist as most things can be done automatically.
Back ups of the iPhone are kept as well, which can be restored to another iPhone, if Joe lost his and had to replace it.

This phone is absolutly fantastic - OUT OF THE BOX no it does not have the features and fuctinality but most of them can simply be rectified with an added 3rd party application (MMS, Video Recording, Voice Dialing etc). If you want to "tinker" with a phone and customise everything to your spec there is no OS on a phone.
To be honest this phones potential will only be reached by a Gadget Guru - Your average Joe is better off getting something else.

Why OSX is better.
Can you upgrade your N95 to Symbian OS v9.3, Series 60 rel. 3.2?
Where would you get it from?
All iPhones can be updated to the latest software and firmware versions.
Can you update your old Windows Mobile 5 device to 6.1, where do you get the update from?
How long does it take the update from Microsoft to be customised by your device manufacturer and prepared for YOUR device?
All iPhones have access to the latest updates as soon as Apple releases them all you have to do is plug it into iTunes.
What happens if your phone software becomes corrupted, by say sloppy 3rd party apps?
Most phones - repair centre
iPhone - plug into iTunes, restore.
Just a few things to consider.
