Pepsi, 06 Nov 2008So no one there had seen an N95 before? Talk about living u... moreWhy use photoshop, I use Picoli directly on my iPhone to touch up photo's and apply artistic effects.

Then transfer to my PC over my wireless network using Discover by bBase (it turns my iPhone into a network drive allowing access to shared folders for copying many different file types aside from pictures).

Both are available from App store.

Been using IPHONE 3G for 2 months now and I have to get rid of it. It's a great PMP and an awful phone. as a text messaging device it is amazingly non-functional. my prior phone was a nokia 6500 classic

      Specific complaints:

      0) importing phone numbers from previous phone sucked. most phones share this feature(Except 40 series to 40 series nokia that does so directly via bluetooth)
      1) no way to mute a call; one must reject it or answer
      2) touch screen makes it difficult to talk on phone without activating stray features & sounds. can not lock screen while talking
      3) can add number of text message to address book. must write number down with pen and pencil WTF
      4) no way to edit number used in text message if one needs to add a 1, country code, change international access code etc. either write number down or add it to address book seems to be the only options
      5) one must complete text message prior to doing any other activity on phone or all work is lost.
      6) only one view of text messages. I real miss the ability to edit sent messages and send them to new person.
      7) typing is very difficult highly error prone.
      8) no way to insert curser inside a misspelled word. must retype entire word after attempting multiple times to get cursor close.
      9) no ability to adjust font size.
      10) massive amounts of wasted screen in viewing text messages.
      11) safari browser insists on changing strings that I painfully type into search fields. "SFO" is a much better search string than "Ago". it refused to allow the string "SFO"; WTF
      12) amazingly difficult to re-organize icons on main display
      13) no stylus. how and I supposed to type accuratly
      14) no replaceable battery. battery runs dry half way through flight across Pacific Ocean. now what
      15) inadequate call volume
      16) no D pad, no yes/no buttons
      17) call log only has 2 views, all and missed. would like to see dialed numbers, received call logs also
      18) too easy to delete numbers from logs, occurs with one wrong touch, no recovery available
      19) too easy to delete text messages, occurs with one wrong touch, no recovery available
      20) no flash in camera not allowing me to get picutes in low light situations
      21) can not view content of contacts when adding additional detail. ie replacing +1 incoming international access code with 011 outgoing code requires pencil and paper.

      Praise

      1) Ease adding of music and photos to iPHONE
      2) Ease adding of additional applications
      3) Highly functional screen
      4) flat application structure layout
      5) good looking phone

therock, 06 Nov 2008"omg!...(lol..haha) i went to the apple store and att. I to... moreSo no one there had seen an N95 before? Talk about living under a rock! I find it hard to believe anyone would find the N95 more appealing than the iPhone look-wise.

As for the camera, why don't you all go look on the front page of gsmarena and have a look at the iPhone contest. I think you'll find the camera isn't that bad. Yes the images have been photoshopped but anyone who cares about taking quality photos would have Photoshop anyway!

I mean, who doesn't have Photoshop!

"Guy, Could you check your Iphone's LCD for bad or frozen pixels. You need to check it in a dark area with black screen. Check it carefully and post the Result. You will see so many small frozen Pixels. I changed my Iphone 5 times with new one. There is still bad or frozen pixels on it. I never saw that cheap LCD ever. Please check it and reply"

Like I said I've sold hundred's of them and had zero returns due to pixel issues.

So either you are exceptionally unlucky to have had to return five of them or you are full of sh*t.

therock, 06 Nov 2008my n95 story is for other iphone users that havent read it,... moreHey I never said the iPhone was the best, unlike you Mr Nokia fanboi.

Your N95 story is like a drunk at a party who keeps dribbling out the same story over and over which no-one wants to listen too.

Go share it with the other fanboi's somewhere over at Nokia, while you're there you can share sob stories about how the 8 megapixel camera's on other phones are better.

If I felt my N82 was worthwhile using I'd use it but I prefer my iPhone.

                  People I need your help!

I need to buy a phone this Saturday and can't decide between this phone and the Sony ericsson C905.

If you own this phone, can you tell me if you can put your own ringtone, like mp3?
Can you reformat dvds to play on iphone?

How is the phone itself? does it freeze? is it reliable?

This is a slick looking phone, but if you are a techie (flasher/customizer) you would never use this phone. No MMS, closed-platform, lack of multi-tasking. I'll stick to HTC WinMo / Android when it becomes available.

I took out my n95 and compared it to the iphone. People inside the store were curious about my n95...is it a camera, or smart phone?. I told them it is smart phone ...an all around device: camera, internet, and a phone. even the att guys checked out my n95.
I went to a halloween party in club where dimmed lights dominated the place. I took out my n95 to take pictures and my frends got impressed of the device. i dont think they have seen an n95 before. they had to carry regular cameras because their iphones became useless."

Anyways...iphone the best phone ever( which i have heard so many times and i also heard complaints bout the iphone)? i dont think so. Shut your mouth and know your role!

A deception because it's the contrary of the philosophy of the computer Mac Os X system.

The Iphone come with nothing, every possiblity of a multimedia gsm isn't included.

You must buy every part of your cellular and Itunes isn't the best to manage datas.

If your looking for a powerful and complete device forget this one.

If you're looking for a multimedia and friendly useful with a fashion style take this one
