Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I may not be over the moon with the iPhone, but hands down, IT HAS THE BEST UI (User Interface) out there.

Even an unborn baby can use it.

But if we are talking about things like, say, if it's worth it? That's debatable, and I think it's too expensive.

It's more of a status symbol. "Hey look, I have an iPhone, I have a big doink!" Hehe.

A smartphone it is not. It obviously tries to be one, and thanks to this, you can automatically see those big name reviewers where they're coming from, and if they're full of stinky poo.

Anyone who brands the iPhone a SmartPhone has not used a smartphone PROPERLY. ;)

BUT, this is still the BEST media phone at the moment. I just wish it could play WMA and AVI like a BlackBerry does.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Yeah I agree, the iPhone is sick, it's the sickest phone out.

I'm glad you want to applaud it, I think it's worth clapping too.

Now do your 1,1,1 votes and run along no-one cares about your asterisk laden opinion.

iphone is the evil himself better watch out when you purchase it because it uses data a lot and it has to work with data there is nothin we can do about it unless you put a data package of $30 or $60 so you can be safe....it is a smart phone though

The phone promised to be the "bahemoth of all phones" (the way it was advertised) but in the end, it was more or less a much ado for nothing type of episode. Unlike UK / US, there is no 3G in South Asia :( Second, in UK / US, you don't have to fully front the bill, you can lock on w/a mobile operator and pay maybe 200 bucks or something....here, you have the operator lock, but you have to pay the FULL price for the iphone. That amounts to about 40k bucks, and for that price, I can get a decent AMD powered phenom PC or even a midrange laptop. And after paying full price for the phone, the operator lock still remains....the camera promises 2 megapixel, but it's only a VGA camera. I'd give this product maybe 4/10 in terms of value for money...

And because once you get used to the Iphone it is impossible to go back to a stone age phone like Nokia, Motorola,Samsung etc.

Andrew, 31 Oct 2008Can you get Hotmail as an push email? To get push Hotmail you have to upgrade to it to Premium, Hotmail push only works with Winmo 6 (it's a Microsoft thing, just as it only works with Outlook or Outlook Express email clients).

Gmail and Yahoo work fine, they give you a more fully featured email account for free.

BlackBerry Bold User, 31 Oct 2008Why didn't you buy the BlackBerry Bold? I chose the BlackBe... moreThat must be why the US senate is switching from Blackberries to iPhones.

There is one thing RIM and Blackberry does better than anyone and that's email, except when Microsoft messes around with Exchange, which has caused some issues in the past.

OSX is easily the most powerful operating system ever put into a mobile device, Apple has always kept to proprietary hardware they will not change that particularly given their recent success.

Developers have only begun to scratch the surface as far as applications go.

"Developers of Documents to Go are now bringing Microsoft Office to the iPhone. They even put up a dedicated web page for the service’s imminent release. You gotta wonder though; since copying and pasting are important functions for the Office programs, does that mean the iPhone is expected to get them soon or are the developers of Documents to Go relying on a hack for copy and paste? Regardless, iPhone users can soon get Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on their fruit-flavored phones including support for 2007 versions."
