This means that the apple copied them...and they just enhanced the interface to make it finger touch, instead of the stylus pen.

MMS is useless, send a VGA photo, wow, I'd rather send a 2 megapixel photo by email, it costs less too and at least the person receiving it can print it.
The new Google earth app is pretty cool, the street view is good, just tilt the iPhone.
2.2 should be good when this function is incorporated into the maps.
Which other phones do that?
Others can try to copy the look but can't copy what it does.

Look what is ranked number 1 and 2, old phones, the best is in the past, the manufacturer must be going backwards.
All these 1 votes are from people who don't own one, so they don't know what it is like to use one, all they can do is whine about what it doesn't have without understanding what it does.

I have been palying with Omnia a view days ago and I am telling you it is a bad copy of IPHONR I am sure it has more options but how the copy of IPHONE can be better then a IPHONE it self ???

andrew, 30 Oct 2008can i synchronise contacts from Microsoft Outlook on this p... moreYes it does, iPhone's sync with outlook via iTunes, they also have native support for Exchange, so you can also sync your work contacts, calenders and email.
You can read word, excel, powerpoint and PDF attachments as well.
Editing isn't available yet but might soon be available via app store.
There is a free app called Discover from bBase which let's your iPhone function as a network drive over a wireless network.

i gotta give it to these iphone users seriously..it is the best phn out there in the market rite now!..the ratings says it all rite? =)..i know u guyz bought it n now juz to satisfy ur inner-self u guyz keep on sayin it out loud tht ths is the best coz of ths coz of tht n wat not..if it is indeed such a gr8 phn thn y is the rating so low? oh ya, u guyz don rate ur own phn..thts like a waste of time eh?..all u do is argue wth ppl sayin y the other brand phns r not evn close to ur so called iphone eh..well keep on screamin out loud sayin ths is the best! but deep down inside u know ur regretin..

just gotten my 16gb version. found it a little bit of a hassle in the beginning. even with the uploading of music & photos....customization of ringtone was a killer.
but then i really enjoy the experience using the awesomely fantastic screen touch...
never owned a mp3 player least to mention a ipod (only used SE & Nokia walkman/music player) but this baby is my 1st mp3 player & i'm loving it now :)
but its really dependable on itunes to do everything...should have been more flexible on this though.
will be buying the 5800 also when it arrives then i'll get to compare the differences :)

Listen Ppl no can deny dat iphone was the first to go propa propa into touch, n allow the prada coz dat was a flop with all the memory probs it had wid takin pics. So all the nokia, htc, n blackberry will do there damn best to compete wid it but jus u guys wait for apple new phone to come out. dey knw der faults n dey knw wats there plan, no one can beat iphones web browsin experience an its user interface is amazin n rapid too

Read up on what you are buying first. And since when do phones have to have bluetooth compatability? You can make calls on an iPhone, and send SMS. Isn't that what a phone is supposed to do?

I agree with nokia fan. the nokia tube(5800)is the first touchscreen for nokia and feature pack already.
speakin of potential? iphone's potential is still way behind. After the nokia tube, I am sure the n-series and e-series will come out with touchscreen phones...now that is potential!!

The one thing that none of the wannabes have is OSX, they all try to make other OS's look the same (Symbian, Winmo Android, etc) but none of them WORK the same.
iPhones have been around less than two years there is still plenty of potential left for development.
