i think it is a no brainer to say that the HTC touch HD is totally superior to the iphone in so many ways
1) it has twice the screen resolution and a bigger screen!
2)the phone has a better camera and can actually record video (wow!)
3)it has a faster proccessor and greater ram (although this doesnt matter on the iphone since it cannot multitask...)
4)the HD actually looks better
5)windows mobile?? (controversial, both OS's are good in their own ways)
yeah. when it is released, i certainly will put my hand in my pocket. just looking around at reviews, it seems to suffer from barely any lag at all!

Would buy it if: bluetooth, mms, 5MP camera + flash, tom-tom nav compatible, would not shout out textmessages SMS the second they arrive in screen..

Some people don't realise that apple makes more money if bluetooth feature is locked.but if you are smart you can do many things with the iphone:video record,MMS,data transfer without itunes,even payd apps can be free.i love my iphone 3G :).

... moreI agree iphoner. ppl always complain about the iPhone how it sucks and everything... i also happen to have mine compared to all sorts of phone from the DIamond to Omnia to even N95...
and all have bad things to say about it..
and yet... they cant keep their eyes of it...
face it people... this phone is just mesmerizing.... and i seriously doubt anyone who thinks otherwise or has never even given it a second look =)

if you dont like the phone why even post a comment. eg. i wouldnt post a comment on any nokia phone as i dont like them. so to me everyone that comes here to comment i think you love the phone MUAHHAHAHA just give in!!!
and if you really do just come here to say how "crap" the phone is then you people have a very sad life :)

Yo don't have to "unlock" it to see missed calls, all you have to do is press the single button on the front and there they are, the text of missed messages is also there so you can read the start WITHOUT UNLOCKING the iPhone, when you do unlock it you will see little red circles with numbers on them on the calls, messages or emails 2 months and you didn't know that, try and guess what they mean?
When you go into calls, recent calls see all the one's that are RED instead of BLACK, I wonder what those are...
...could they possibly be MISSED CALLS?
You had it for two months and couldn't work all that out?

me, 26 Oct 2008I just don't get it: no mms, no video recording, yet it has... moreTo edit your playlists, use Genius to make a quick list of 25 songs similar to the one you choose OR from the iTunes menu on the phone, select Playlist, select On-The-Go add whatever songs you want from your library in whatever order you want, name it whatever you want then save it.
Maybe if you had half a brain or an iPhone you'd be able to figure it out for yourself.

There are also security issues Cabir on an iPhone... never.
Anyway you are free to spend your money however you want, don't whine to me with your drivel.
Using it in the car?
I have a dock all I have to do is touch it to make calls or VOICEDIAL using "Say Who" another free app, it's connected to my stereo so the music cuts out and then resumes.
Mr two months send me your iPhone if you don't want it, I mean it's worthless to you right?

lots of people ENVY iPhone users because other phone users don't have to have PC and plug just to delete files and edit playlist like iPhone users. Way to go buddy iPhone users.

I just don't get it: no mms, no video recording, yet it has 8 or 16 gb.it's a wonderfull gadget, I use one of these phones and I wouldn't change it for anything else. The built-in ipod features are plenty enough, but: you can't edit your music, playlists, video stuff and so on without using a pc or mac (itunes). Why?

How come nobody has thought about what I'm thinking of? If MICROSOFT started making phones, wouldn't that be the best phone eva? I know Windows Mobile OS is unbarably laggy, but maybe if they designed the whole phone, (X-phone or somethin lol) that'll be the winner. I'm obviously PC user..

After using it for two months I really can't continue. There's no missed call or missed SMS on standy clock. I missed those notifications so often. I have to unlock to check every time. That's so annoying man.
I have lots photo and the quality is good only when you don't zoom in. If you do, the picture look so fuzzy and lots of noise. And when you want to delete some photos you don't need, you cannot. Wooow brilliant idea...
Bluetooth is hopeless. What's the point to have it and cannot be use to send filed. Forget about some jack*ss said it is to protect right to be not be able to send through Bluetooth, people been using bluetooth to tranfser file for almost a decade Id*ot.
It's so-often-to-type-wrong keybord is useless. You say it's better than t9? It makes me miss my old Nseries. Everything you want can be done easily.
And time after time it feels big. Stop dreaming to do anything on it if you're driving. With my N95 it's so easy.
No offence to current iPhone users but just to shout some mistakes from apple so they can make a better one in the future and to let want-to-buy people know that you're looking for the wrong phone.
