Anonymous, 23 Oct 2008The iPhone has a better screen than the N95, instant fail N... moreyou probably cant afford an n95. it is pricier and more worthy than the iphone. n82 was my first option, but i settled for the n95..why the n95?..because the image of the n95 is mostly for men and the n82 for the women (n95 king and n82 queen of nokia).
you just took the words right out of my head...innov8 and n82 far better than the iphone.

The iPhone has integration with Microsoft Exchange, instant fail N95 I don't want one.
The iPhone has Mac OSX, instant fail N95 I don't want one.
The N95 takes to long to take a picture, soooooooooooo slooooooooowwww, I don't want one.
The N95 is not even the best Symbian phone, the N82 is better and the Samsung Innovate is better again.

Iphone users...just because the sales of the iphone sky rocketed to millions doesn't mean that it is the king of phones. The question for the iphone is...how many complaints and returns?. People are buying the iphone because of the brand name.
Iphone targets children, teens, and young adults now because apple knows the xperia1, omnia, nokia tube, n96, e71, touch pro...etc can slay the iphone. So apple would do anything for the sale of the iphone to go up.
Iphone is the king you say, heck no!! Haven't you read the articles about the n95 beating the Iphone?the n95 is still the KING of KINGS.

Adobe is working on flash for the iPhone, it is coming.
Having OSX as an operating system means that things can be added, check out some of the applications you can get from the App store, they are far more powerful than Java based applications.
If the iPhone is crap, how much crappier are those who seek to imitate it?

I guess the iPhone 3G is Cool and Can be unlocked cause i just jail break one but the bad thing about it is that the safari browers does not support java and flash plugins, that's really bad.
I dont think Apple are really making sense bout this whole idea of this iPhone of a thing while you can get a better device like samsung imio or what ever, Nokia 5800,N810. This is really crazy.

i think that the iphone is crap! they made such a big hype for a phone that hardly does anything. i think that they only put out the good features on the phone not telling what it doesnt do. now that the N96 is here the iphone doesnt even exist!! thank god for that

iPhone is already dead, eversince Samsung introduced their Omnia. Other units that can burrow it 6 feet under are HTC Touch HD and Sony Ericsson Xperia X1. But to teens, iPhone remains cute in their senses.

all you people here keeps on complaining about iphones... i have one iphone 3g but i don't have any complains about the phone... i've using it since the first release here in our country with no regrets and problems what so ever...iphone rules sorry for the cry babies here maybe they can't afford to buy one... hahahahahahaha cry babies...

Hi to all "iphoners"
I need asistance with the following:
I live in S Africa and have the iphone 3g 8 gb.U.S. version. (I am using it with a turbo sim)
I used itunes to sync stuff on to my phone but recently when I connected my phone to my computer, it said: 'something wrong with your phone, contact nearest apple store"
now the nearest apple store is approximately 8ooo miles away!
Now when I connect the phone it doesn't even show it in the itunes!
Therefore I can no longer sync it or even back up my phone.
Please advise how to solve this problem.

It`s a very nice phone,but no voices to turn in GPS has a very very big mistake,i prefer the nokia N95 is more customizable than this Iphone,may be the next generation fix this big mistake in the GPS.
Pd:Google Maps is a very nice feature but without voices is worthless (that GPS is imposible to use in a car because you have to watch every second the map)

Tough fact of life :
During yesterday's conference call, Apple revealed that iPhone was responsible for 39% of the company's revenues in Q4 2008. Due to Apple's decision to report iPhone earnings as subscription revenue over 24 months, however, these numbers are not reflected in the $1.14 billion net profit and $7.9 billion in revenue reported yesterday. If they had been included, this would represent an additional $3.8 billion in revenue and an additional $1.3 billion in net income.
As noted by many, the size of this number is remarkable for a product that has been on the market for only 15 months. Steve Jobs highlighted the significance of the numbers by putting Apple's iPhone sales into perspective:
- Apple sold more iPhones than RIM sold Blackberries in Q4 2008
- In terms of revenue, Apple is now #3 amongst mobile phone vendors behind Nokia and Samsung and beating out Sony Ericsson which falls at #4.
