WritePad Overview
The purpose of this application is to demonstrate the handwriting recognition-based input method with a custom editor developed for PhatWare PhatNotes for iPhone and iPod Touch. WritePad includes the advanced handwriting recognition engine for the English language (support for several other languages will be available soon) developed specifically for iPhone. It recognizes all handwriting styles: cursive, print, and mixed. To enter the text you can simply write with your finger on the iPhone screen in either landscape or portrait mode employing your own handwriting style. In the beginning the recognition quality may depend on your style and how comfortable you feel writing on the iPhone screen with your finger; however the more you use it, the better it will become as the software will adapt to your patterns. In addition, you can use simple finger gestures to select text, cut, copy, paste, insert special characters such as space and return, invoke the spell checker for the selected word, correct recognized text, and more.
Anyway I think I'll make some more MP3 ringtones, maybe some people should check further down the page.

No deleting just one sms from the same contact
No mms
No wap
No modem
No compatibling Apple accessory
But still i like it :)

It seems to work alright it's strange to get used to.

Did you ever try the IPHONE in the store how it works
you will love it from the begining......
Bluetooth works very good for the headset ,you cant transfer the files besause Apple cares about copyrights and nokia does not....
The video recording is coming soon to the application store but is it realy nessesery maybe for teenagers....Iphone is a cool phone it looks and feels nice, eazy to use and NORMAL HUMAN being will be always happy to have it in his opcket.........

I own a nokia n95 from the first day its was in stores, now im thinking about change was looking for iPhone, but... did i understood it corectly, bluetooth only for headphones, what about file sharing.
And what is the deal with ringtones, on n95 my friend can actualy send me anything in mp3 i can record calls or use it as voice recorder in mp3, no mp3 ? or just ringtones issue. And why 30secs length. I had n90 before n95 and it had limitation in video recording, what about iPhone because i see so many limitations of the apple, just to make it propetary, and make people dependable, n95 talks, with anything, shares anything, records video, sound, plays any kind of video, can be connected to any computer as mass memory, so its like usb stick if needed... gps, works wery good, supports now multiple programs, garmin for instance. I was realy thinking about iPhone but ill stick untill next Nseries comes out.
Cant wait to see whats after n96.

Sharp 903 Samsung G800 have optical zoom, almost all other phones have digital zoom, which is a waste of time.

But Apple did not know that we are smart and even smarter than their IT and so to see some other IT too

itunes w... moreThat's true, I just use Audacity to make adjustments with the volume, pitch etc and to get the loop just right, sometimes I run it through a few filters, or mix in a little of something else, so my ringtones are totally unique.
I've even got the Nokia tune, for a bit of a laugh.

The camera works fine the quality is quite good easily comparable to any other 2 megapixel camera phone out there, there is an app you can get which can stitch 4 photo's together in a panorama, that would make an 8 MEGAPIXEL PHOTO, GO, GO IPHONE.
You should hear my iPhone playing through my car stereo @ 2000 watts, there are lot's of docks etc for this phone, heaps of people make stuff for them, at home I dock it in a set of 100 watt speakers.
To delete contacts, plug your iPhone into iTunes and you can delete anything you want, all at once.
Messages show the name even when I send free ones through my SIP provider, using Fring... whoohoo FREE CALLS via wireless.
There is an equaliser, it's in settings under iPod, maybe if you had one of these phone's you would know this, sound quality is THE BEST of any phone especially if you get one of the high end headsets you can get for it.
Obviously your HIGH END IT FRIENDS can't use GOOGLE, maybe you can teach them something, the thing that takes the longest when making ringtones is playing around with a loop, getting it just right (but that happens with all the ringtones I make), I use Audacity.
Importing it into iTunes, converting it to AAC, copying it to desktop and renaming it to .a4r then importing it again takes less time than it took to type this.
I got big hands and fingers I have no trouble typing, once you get used to it it gets faster than a 10 key phone, but then again I'm not a retard.
What this is all about is go buy a simple phone, like a Nokia 2760.

iPhone 3G in my country is sold at over US$950 since no contract b*llsh*t. It makes a good sale here, so I spent my money to get one too. I've been using for a a month now and oh man... Let me tell u:
-camera is a joke. I know it's not a camera but you must expect something better than this
-speakers are useless n works only the right side like old iPhone
-new message from the person in your contact never show the name
-if you want to delete your contacts, you have to do one by one ... Damn
-no multitask. I can't live with that.
-music quality is a shame and can't compare with all Walkman phones. Equalizers can't be modified... What's the point man?
-takes three of my IT expert friends and took them 2 days to get me an mp3 song to be its ringtone.
-typing is a nightmare. I keep trying many times

If you are into camera phones, you my want to reconsider the iphone. Its a shame the camera is only 2.0MP. You cant edit pics or zoom or crop them. There are no camera options for editing and no 'fun features'. You cant even send pic mssgs (MMS). There is no handwriting recognition in the app, hence no stylus? Navigating thru the phone is user-friendly. the colors are very brilliant and perhaps the best i've seen on any cell phone. This is an excellent phone for staying organized and the application OS is very very fast. Like other phones, you can store massive amounts of media. you should go into a BestBuy and play with this phone if you are having any second thoughts.
