therock, 08 Oct 2008sorry bro...but compared to the iphone, the nokia express m... morenokia tube is a decent phone but still not come close to the iPhone,,
i'll recommend you BB storm then
but hearing that it does not has wi-fi i think it is a major downside since i use it a lot in my campus..

5800 has lots of features but see the vid and you see how it not works as smooth as the iPhone..

i don't say that it is a bad phone,, it is ok phone, but iPhone is still better..

besides it is a music xpress phone which if u talks bout multimedia phone iPhone is one of the best right now

Iphone sucks and its is a waist of good money. Iphone has been on the market a long time and now that the 3g version is launched its big. WHY? there is so much that the omnia, diamond and the nokia 5800 can do that the iphone can't do. Ppl look at what is realistic and what you need. Iphone cant even blootooth from one phone to another. Keep it real

Yay, Fring is in the app store...

          ...hello free calls via wireless.

Very easy to set up MacOSX version works way better than Symbian.

fed up, 08 Oct 2008If you are thinking of buying an iPhone, DONT! Especially f... moreU should take the phone back, iphone has the best battery life of anything comparable... I use mine constanly all day and it's last at least 10 hours of solid use.

Yeah it's common knowledge it doesn't do file transfer bluetooth, do your research before purchasing a phone.

Vodafone has no control over the battery life or the data used by the iphone. It only provides the service.

ok a new video recorder application is ready for the iphone and its official .
but the problem is its fram rate is so high that it kills the battery .
for every second of recording it uses the energy equevelent of 986000 trillion big bangs times another 9000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 trillion big bangs . so apple deceded to release a new battery to handle that . the new app is called ipro cam and is available in the app store .

It is a good phone, but in India we require almost every feature.

                      Pros:
                      1. Good looks.(It's apple)
                      2. Touch screen etc. are nice.
                      3. Supports word, excel, powerpoint (mostly used here).
                      4. it's an ipod,phone,internet device.

                      Cons:
                      1. No bluetooth file transfer support.
                      2. Camera can't zoom while taking shots.
                      3. no SMS,MMS forwarding.
                      4. Phone is locked with service provider so user can't switch to other providers.
                      5. no card slot.
                      6. very hard to make it support pirated music, videos, software.

Get an iPod touch and jailbreak it. Makes a great PDA. That takes care of the 90% of the "iPhone experience" without all the BS data plans and dropped calls. You have to carry another device, but it isn't like the iPhone is the best all-around phone either. Then get a better phone. Esp one with better reception, battery life, ZERO proprietary software that crashes your PC, and uncrippled Bluetooth. iPhone makes a great "toy" for iPosers who think they are cool and have ZERO game that needs a cool-looking phone to attract women.

ViL, 07 Oct 2008kiddin me? nvr heard anything about apple bad quality prod... moreTo Vil. I agree with you. I've seen a lot of touchscreen phones that came out trying to topple the iphone, but all has failed, even the Omnia. There are still more coming out, like the Pixon, Renoir, Nokia Tube, etc. But among all of them, the unexpected BB Storm might turn out to be the iphone's closest match. Although I still think that the iphone still has the edge here in the US. I particularly don't care about wifi, but a lot of people make a big deal of it, and the Storm does not have wifi, so that could be its major downside.

Apple will not rest on its laurels yet. They'll come up with something soon, and other phonemakers will again dread it. It's amazing how Apple turned things around for their favor. They've lost their popularity for such a long time already. They must be doing something right, and it all started with the ipod. Great concept. And I think that concept will take them to even greater heights. But I'm still kind of shy in getting a MAC. I'm so used to PC, but spywares and viruses and worms are just getting on my nerves that it's very tempting to try out a MAC.

ViL, 08 Oct 2008no way,, no change in UI,, no fun some good application ... moresorry bro...but compared to the iphone, the nokia express music packs more features. even the camera of the nokia express music has a higher megapixel with dual led flash, therefore the large touchscreen is not a waste...unlike the iphone. also, the google phone is goin to cripple the iphone.

check out nokia.com for the nokia 5800 express music's specs.

Let's be real - No product matches Macintosh application system.Others phones have everything,iPhone limits their applications in the phone but 3rd party software is abundance. For first time users,it is sleek and ultimate sexy. For me,I have been using many brands Nokia,LG,Samsung,Sony and the works but somehow I find the phone that fits all normally will crank up much faster.I still have my LG Shine and Motorola V1 which to me is perfect but there is no doubt iPhone catches the eye....

my iPhone has excellent battery life,,
my iPhone stand for 4 days if i'm not using it very much and 2 days when i use it a lot,, calling, texting, mp3s.. if u use it for a lot of web browsing it does use a lot of battery...

as long as i know apple's product always has good battery life, and all apple's product that i has have good battery life.

Ive used 3G iPhone for a week now. Not really impressed with battery life. Apple should be ashamed at what they offer. You are able to install apps legally but thats it. Apple decided let the programmers come up with cool apps and we[apple] will just make the device.

It is a good application device, not a good phone as all importance has been given to looks and features of everything but messaging and calling.

Final verdict: If you're going through the phase in life where you need tonnes of 3rd party applications on your phone but hardly ever txt or call anyone, this phone is for you. If you are a frequent txter or a caller, you will be supremely dissappointed at how non user-friendly this device is. My suggesstion to you is to get an iPod touch, load it with a gazillion apps and use a smartphone or something.
                                    Cheers :D
