I've heard alot of mixed opinions about the iphone but I still want it, you can say what you want about this phone but thanks to Apple all the other competitors have had to drastically step up their game, the bottom line is the iphone isnt perfect but apon its release resulted in these other cell phone makers like LG and HTC coming out with their own cloned versions of the iphone and trying to have on their generic versions the features that the iphone lacked and the fact is the overall quality of the generic versions dont equal that of the iphone, Apple still has plenty of room for improvements on this phone but I can guarantee that their working on improving this phone even more, its just like when the first generation ipod originally came out and each year it evolved more and more resulting in more features as each ipod released was better than the previous and now comparing the current ipods to the first generation would be a joke, so just like the ipod the iphone has some more evolving to do

    Does iPhone supports 3rd party application...
    Like Symbian OS does?


    If we're going to compare iPhone's OS to Symbian's S60 3rd Edition, hmmmm... iPhone isn't that flexible.. :(


    i think N81 8GB is far away better than this iPhone... :) SORRY, I'm just asking...


    Lastly, does iPhone supports DEEP BASS??
    I'm a MUSIC LOVER esp. BASS LOVER.
    I have Ultimate Bass Test.mp3 and play it
    with my N81 8GB with FULL BASS, and my SUBWOOFERS ARE IN EXTREME EXCURSION...

    Please answer my questions...

      You wanna know why your precious Iphone is being ripped to shreds in the forum? ARROGANCE. Calling your phone "best" in the face of all its OBVIOUS shortcomings is really offensive. That cocky attitude about:

      "having the best camera even if it's 2 MP",or
      "who needs a bluetooth that really works", or
      "who uses MMS anyway", or
      "who forwards SMS anyway".

      That's the surefire way to get your precious Iphone fanny toast. And, oh by the way, it's not that people are sourgraping because they can't afford this. They can, but they chose to buy other products, even more expensive products (read: SE, Samsung, Nokia, LG)because those truly have cutting-edge technology. Not like this dinosaur.

      As poor as the poll results show: 7.4, 7.1, 7.2. Tsk tsk, this is really revolutionary. Possibly one of the lowest rating ever given to any phone. And it's all down to ARROGANCE. If Apple had just been more truthful and marketed it as an Ipod with some phone functions, then people would have been more forgiving. But calling it "the best"...LOLZ! Pathetic!

The Mac/Apple fanboys have given Apple a big ego and now the iPhone is hyped as if its the greatest breakthrough when its NOWHERE near a breakthrough. There are phones like the N81, N95, SAMSUNG OMNIA etc. . . That are far ahead.

                The only reason people try and rip this phone to shreds is because deep down inside there sad little minds they know that is one of the best mobile devices in the world at the present time, there is a endless amount of excellence with this phone its hard to find something that isn't good with it. Well done apple....I think the "Nokia" fans need to leave and get over themselves seriously.....

                    iPhone is a professional media player, if you can distinguish between sound quality and volume level, just try earphones made by B&O (offered for iPhone)... can you find something similar for any of your N81, N82, .... N98!!!

ACTUALY the E90 can play videos in fullscreen, so NO you're wrong. The E90 has 800x352 res SO its better than iPhone. Weird screen orientation? LMAO what an id1otic statement, the E90 is perfect for Web browsing, its screen is perfect, with a well placed HARDWARE QWERTY keyboard underneath, not some cheap useless on screen keyboard. Lol the HTC TouchDiamond has BOTH multitouch AND copy and paste so quit making stup1d exscuses.
                      Lol a true apple fanny lol Multitasking is IMPORTANT! Why would you be so stupid to run two games, watch a vid and send sms? Thats only an example an apple user would use because its stup1d. Multitasking is like when i run MSN Messenger, play Music, Web browse when waiting for a reply, and run Symella downloading music or any other file at the same time. Lol forwarding a text that was only made for your eyes? WTF thats the most stup1d thing ive ever heard! No dummy, there are times when you need to pass on a message if the person who sent it to you doesnt have the number of the other person they wantd to send it to as well, or when you want to notify a group of friends something and simply forward the message or send it to over 10people at once.
                      Sound quality? The NOKIA N91 AND N81 are at the top in terms of sound quality with POWERFULL sound acceleration hardware and noise reduction hardware. The N81 features a Sound DSP running at 235mhz and a Toshiba DAC33 Amplifier chip to double up, the N91 features a Texas Instrument DSP with the Toshiba DAC33 Amp, both these phones put the iPhone to shame at SOUND QUALITY in headphones and loudspeaker. The N81 features 3D stereo on loudspeaker to give surround sound effects. The Lab tests have been done all over the Web the iPhone cant touch the N81 at sound GET OVER IT.

                          I just updated my iphone to the updated 2.1 firmware. My iphone even performs better than ever. The slight lag when you open contacts has now been fixed. The UI seems to even flow smoother and faster, and is somehow more responsive. I'm just like, WOW. To think that it already had an awesome interface, Apple even found a way to make it even better. There's also a significant improvement on its 3G connection. I really never had a problem with it before, maybe because there's better 3g signal here in LA, but I notice that I get 3 to 4 bars now compared to 1 to 2 before. There's also that Genius feature under ipod. I guess that is for playlists, but anyways, I don't even think I need that. I'm loving my iphone even more. But I'm sure iphone haters would hate it even more as well, hahahahaha.

And it has poor resolution compared to the iphone's half vga. Also, it does not use the whole screen when you view videos. The sides are blacked out leaving maybe only 3.0 of the 4.0 inches. And I don't think the E90 has an accelerometer. It wouldn't make sense anyway to have an accelerometer with the E90's weird screen set up. So yes, iphone's screen is still better. The iphone also has messenger applications, and more. I really don't want to be seen with your ugly E90 anyway. It's just ugly and unfashionable. That's how undesireable your E90 is. What's wrong with 3rd party approved applications? As long as it does the job. You're so bitter, lol. Yes, the iphone cannot copy and paste, but it has multi-touch feature that we would rather have than copy and paste. Can't have everything. Cannot have copy and paste and multi-touch feature at the same time. Got to make sacrifices to give way to more helpful features. If I want to send sms to multiple recipients, I can do that myself. Don't be rude and go forwarding sms that the sender intended just for your eyes only. I guess you're another victim of technology taking people's privacy for granted. And why would a reasonable person run multiple apps at the same time? Can a person play tetris and cubes at the same time, while watching a video and sending sms? Your N81 has nothing on the iphone's ipod audio quality. And if you're referring to the speaker phone, the iphone's just fine, it's not distorted. Don't confuse loud distorted sound as good quality sound, lol. No wonder Nokia phones have this creaky, lose build quality, it's speakers are too loud for its build to handle. Not to mention Nokia uses cheap plastic, ewww. And Nokia screens are also made of cheap plastic that easily scratches, ewwwwww.

                                Whan i see all the phones in the store thay look useless to me just to make a call some of them do have build in mp3 player thats about it and this 5 or more MP cam that made you to buy them isntead to get just real cam.
                                Sending mms is useless course you never know iif the other person will recive it and you still do have to pay for it . Iphine is emailing photos very eazly and free.
                                I am sending some pix every day to my best friend and i just tell you thay alway arive on time. Iphine has a push email so it will push al the emails for you every 15 min those will arive like a text message. I feel
                                like haveng laptop ,wifi set and the phine with me every day and my mobile office.
                                Belive me sending and reciving email was never so eazy before iphone .........
                                There is nothing to complane about.
                                oh and bluetoot works just great crisp and clear and if you want stereo one is `15£ on ebay just plug and play, and external battery for back up to just 11£ on ebay it
                                will charge your iphone in notime
                                there is nothing to complain about just wonderfull..............

                                    I just forgot to tell you the iphone 2MP cam makes beter pix than my LG viewty 5 MP.
                                    Viwety compresed the pix till 200kb it never can be 5 MP. Iphone pix are crisp cleare and nice even without the flash witch is only good for about 2 meters.
                                    I cant even imagine sending the email to somose and not having qwerty keyboard . With nokia n95 it will take for ages. And that nokias small screan i gave it away for free to my jounger brother to play with it.(nokia n 95)

Why would Apple waste their energy on megapixels when we all know that even with 8 megapixels on a camera phone will not render excellent results? Face it, camera on phones should be your last resort in taking pics. It's purpose is to get snapshots of random situations, and a 2mp is appropriate for that. A person who likes taking quality pictures, like myself, always carry around a digital camera because we do not compromise with picture quality.

                                      Basic mobile service is making and receiving a call, and the iphone does have that. The rest are extra features that other mobile makers made you believe should be included on a phone to add appeal on their products. A belief that Apple does not have to adhere to, for Apple can come up with their own combination of features that they think makes more sense to users than what the common phonemakers threw out there in the past several years. The iphone did not just convince a lot of consumers, but also made consumers realize how we've been tricked by other phonemakers into buying their phones with features that produces mediocre results.

                                      A picture taken from a 2mp camera will look very good on a half VGA, 3.5 screen than a picture taken from an 8mp camera phone on a QVGA, 2.6 screen. Browsing the web will be more convenient on a 3.5, half VGA screen compared to a 2.8, VGA screen. Same with watching videos. I could bring up more, but I just want to point out a few examples of the iphone features that makes more sense that are not found on other phones, but now they're trying to imitate but cannot duplicate (omnia, viewty, etc).

                                        This discusion is useless what iphone HAVE of DOES NOT HAVE. It have what its needs to have and it is still the best phone in the world. There are so many people thats love it and those that cant afforde it just hate it. Wrong guys you just stuck with a contract with nokia lg or samsung it does not mean Iphone is now bad for you.
                                        It is eazy to operate and use even woman can do it. All features in the iphone works smoothly and nice. You can send your mms now and soon there will be a video recording and more. There is nothing to complain about .
                                        YOu just need to wait untill you contract will finish and go for iphone. Do not hate it if you do not own it...............
                                        (you cant transfer the music by blutooth corse of copyrihts i guess it is clear enouth if you have comen sense)
