1) Bluetooth compatibility extremly poor with other devices. I believe this was done deliberately by Apple. That makes me very angry.
2) Can’t switch off predictive text.
3) Can’t enlarge font size in text entry box. Why have a relatively large phone screen then leave the customer with tiny fonts !
4) Cant forward SMS’s
5) Can’t sort order of internet bookmarks
6) Last Incoming & last outgoing calls mixed up in one call log so difficult to distinguish outgoing from incoming calls.
7) Myspace music doesn’t play. Same with other sites where plugins are needed that won't run on Apple platform.
8)Can't use with one hand as with most phones where a little group of selection keys gives access to most functions with a single thumb stroke. The iphone touch screen is too sensitive to the duration of finger stroke. Has to be quick stabs with index finger so thumb doesnt' work well.
9) Any phone screen, including the iphone screen, is too small to use the internet conveniently. I've got a PC at work & two at home. Do I really need the net in my pocket ? No not with a silly little phone screen.
The iphone is very slick & impressive but alas ergonomically poor. In fact it's a bit gimmicky & I can't forgive Apple for the bluetooth issue.
I'm happy to be taking my iphone back & switching back to my N95.

People tend to judge which phone is better by looking at which one has the most features w/out even considering performance and quality. Like I would give up my Canon camera just because I have a 5mp cameraphone. I don't think so. And honestly, pictures taken by the iphone looks even better than the ones taken by other camera phones with higher megapixels. I do understand though that for people who do not have a pc, a laptop and a camera, that they need an all-around phone and settle for poor quality and mediocre results, and well, that market is definitely not the iphone's.

Some try to compare iPhone using our previous experiences on pocket PCs or Media Phones .... Mistake
iPhone is a new definition for a pocket gadget and is far better than any possible rival
Apple makes one of these decisions when introducing a new product
1- Introducing new features and developing them to the possible borders, so you cant find anything less than perfect in it's products among the competitors
2- For anything less than perfect the feature is put away
Some say why 2MP camera, the answer is clear: All of us know that apple knows more about the image quality and digital photography (Try APERTURE once) even more than Sony, A tiny, Noisy CCD with a fixed Lens and Xenon flash doesn't make a worthy photo, higher Mega pixels without improving the CCD size, Lens Width and the flash results just bulkier photos.
iPhone has the best zooming and loading response (almost realtime by pinching and sweeping) and a bulky photo only causes slower zoom (I think it will totally ruin the sense)
why iPhone doesn't work with files?
I really appreciate Apple for helping us remembering a music as a music, a photo as a photo and a document as a document, not all of them as similar files with different extensions. For me it'd very pleasant to see my favorite musical hits in albums (Like a real collection) and forget about the fact that this music has once been sampled and coded to MPEG or anything, the TAG only contains the info about a musical hit as it has to be
I'm really happy with my iPhone
To be added: iPhone has a disadvantage, by using iPhone more than some hours it's very hard to switch to any other handsets

MMS is not necessary for iphone users. Neither is BT file transfer. SMS forwarding can come in handy, but it is not a regular chore, unless you are from a country that are big on SMS. Its camera takes good pictures. Better than others with higher megapixels. The iphone has other better features that would make your walkman look like a toy.

I understand that the Philippines is heavy on SMS, which makes the iphone not an ideal phone for the Philippines. That is just too bad, but do not be bitter and offend those who finds the iphone a great phone for their use and needs.

You have to understand that in the Philippines, text messaging is the main medium for communication. The iphone does not support some SMS features that are essential for texters in the Philippines. So yes, if you are in the Philippines, or any country that is heavy on SMS, the iphone is not ideal for you, which is kind of sad, because the iphone is such a great phone.

It has other more important features and qualities that others find more useful on a cellphone. Now if you regularly use your cellphone to take videos, then yes, stick with your LG and SE. You deserve those kind of phones.

Well FYI, the iphone was obviously not produced for taking videos, lol, but it does not mean that it's worthless. It has other features and qualities that are more important for a cellphone to have. Taking videos regularly through your phone is kid stuff. So yes, stick with your SE and LG. Those are the kind of phones that you deserve.

yes..really if its a 300 hundred dollar phone why cant i bluetooth pics to my girlfriends with the piece. Not only that the thing is impossible to get without having some type of ATT service. Apple iphone? i say its the att iphone.....

I have this model and is impresive all yun can do with. The iphone can do all you can imaging.
