Always i love iphone and now i have iphone 3g..But i dont know why this one, i mean 3g iphone, im having problem and most people having problem with software..This is my 4th iphone im exchanging in apple store because i dont know why this one is some thing problem phone..1st iphone was better, and i never had problem, but iphone 3g software is not same as other one..Phone freezing allot, ( not only myn, i know 100 peoples who has iphone 3g), turning OFF/ON by it self most time, most time turning off and you dont know your phone is OFF..some times, all icons freez and you cant move them or touch..So when i go apple store, i saw 10 people returning iphones 3g or replacing because they having same problems..Apple should fix this as soon as possible, or, they will loose allot of customers..If you ask me, i will wait 1-2 months, so if i see same problem in my phone, i will sell this and go with other phones...But i love iphone..

This discussion is degenerating. Please discuss only relevant matters for the Iphone. It would help more if we just left the less relevant ones out.
So my relevant $0.02: This phone is the GREATEST! Now if only it had all the missing STANDARD features like MMS (YES, MMS numbnuts!), cut & paste, better camera (for Pete's sake, it's friggin 2008, you can do better than 2MP, can't you? CAN'T YOU???), video (you call this a multimedia phone without video capability???).
Ok, if you don't care about the above features, then I'll go back to my first comment, this phone is the GREATEST! Otherwise, it's pure stinkin' crap. =)

from the date when N91 was released Apple has been trying to beat the sound quality of N91 but still cant beat it ...even the iphone 3G still can beat the awesome sound of N91 ....still the best music device u can get N91 rulez ...cheers

Antagonists can complain all day on features that the iphone does not have. But of course they will not mention the unique features that the iphone has that are actually more helpful than the missing features that they keep on bringing up. They need to realize that the iphone offers other features that are actually more important and beneficial than merely transferring pictures and songs via BT and sending MMS (gosh that is so for kids). The fact that millions of people have bought the iphone, just proves that the iphone has its own population of customers that find its offerings more useful than other phones. Now if you cannot live without MMS and BT file transfers, then the iphone is obviously not the phone for you. So go bother someone else.

nick, 07 Sep 2008no screen size obviously plays a big part, but it just show... moreOf course Apple could've made it VGA, but they decided to settle for half VGA, and it still looks very good compared to most phones with QVGA. So I don't know why you would even complain as if the display sucks when it's very good. The iphone already has a poor battery life, how much more if they opted for the VGA screen. And again, between the HTC diamond's VGA screen and the iphone's half VGA, the iphone's display still looks way better.

Honestly, this phone is a disappointment for me so far.
Some other person said that the camera is OK on iPhone, well I can tell you that the camera is complete crap. Unless you have the perfect conditions it will take quite useless pictures.

Just got my iPhone about a week ago and so far I'm loving it. It really has the ability to do almost whatever you could want: internet, phone, ipod + apps etc. My only downfall (besides Rogers' outlandish data plans!) is the battery life -- it is nothing to brag about. I am still switching over from my old phone and haven't done much talking but in terms of surfing I have done about 4 hours overall and it needs a recharge! It's still a great smartphone but if you're planning on getting one prepare to deal with some sucky battery life.
