I want the i-phone but people say about camera been poor..How poor is poor tho cause it cannot be that bad..Can i take photo of mates at about 2 foot and it come out clear.I am after i-phone for wat it does but if the camera takes a reasonable photo then thats ok,,i am not after accurate micro snaps just general fun snaps..

My next question is when will it come out on payg o2 uk cause i am getting it that way,,i am 17 but cannot go contract route and my mates have same problem at that age and asking parents as gauranter is no chance..

Features are great but, compared to an HTC Windows mobile phone, its way back far....

      drawbacks:
      -no flash and java support
      -no video recording
      -no 3G video calling
-only 2mp camera w/ no flash

Id rather get an HTC,SE, or Asus..,
not a bang for the money

Anonymous, 07 Sep 2008How can you say that the resolution of the iphone sucks whe... moreno screen size obviously plays a big part, but it just shows that apple could have easily increased the res.

for the competition (HTC diamond) to release a phone with a screen size .7 of an inch smaller, yet have twice the screen resolution is just shameful on apple's part!

btw the n95 has nothing to do with this. yes the n95 should have a higher res screen but im not talking about that...

is there a software present to upgrade the bluetooth and SMS features in the iphone? will an iphone bought abroad work elsewhere?

I've never enjoyed using any phone as much as I have enjoyed using the iphone. It's the best phone that I've ever owned. For those people complaining about BT file transfer, SMS forwarding, & MMS. If you use those features every day, the iphone is not for you. I thought those features are important at first, but I came to realize, after having so many phones in the past with those features, that I don't really use those features a lot, which means, I could live and function without those features in exchange for other more helpful and useful features that I would gain with the iphone that I would be using every day. I never thought that a phone can have this much effect on me. Iphone is a really cool device.

Also, HTC Diamond may have better resolution that the iphone, but pictures still look better on the iphone because of its bigger screen.

But you won't be able to use Vodafone Live, or musicstation or any of the other Vodafone services. You should be able to browse the internet, but not using the WAP connection. This is not just a guess, BTW, I work in a Vodafone prepay call center. Also, be aware that Vodafone don't offer any support whatsoever for the iPhone...
