If you watched the keynote, you saw amazing app's like the medical apps for instance from MIMvista which was phenomenal. So i mean im expecting it to be amazing! Cant wait!! 5 daysssssss

Right can someone be honest here and tell me how good osx applications are?I was led to believe apps for s60 were good only to find them incredibly flimsy.I cleared my n95 of all the useless junk and out the 100's of apps i'm left with 4 programs that are of a decent standard

the cool thing though bout the camera is that it kinda acts like it has flash cu it adjust to lighting VERY well. i was playing with my friends 1st gen iphone and the way it adjusts to lighting is pretty great.

oh forgot to mention one more thing, the battery life! Wow, how did hey do it?? On other phones I played around a bit but with a life of 4/5 hours with active use... You need to make sure you didn't forget your charger, other wise you will probably not make it a whole day. I am at work right now, I have a boring job... Its been 3 hours since I have been listening to my music, and the last one hour I have been I was surfing the net. What would be the battery life on a regular phone? 40% gone? 30% gone?... I have about 90 % of my battery life left. I am so confident in the better life I will probably go on you tube afterwards or maybe watch a movie, and still not look over how much longer it will last. That's a not so "in your face" feature that I only noticed after I used it for a week or so.

I noticed most people leaving negative opinions dont actually own 1 or used their freind's for 20 mins. And people who own one are defending it. within a week of me owning the iphone I was totally impressed, I have experienced all kinds of phones: pearl, n95, all kinds of ericsons. But was never able to use those phones to their full extent, because of different reasons, some were too slow, some were too complicated, some didn't sync well with my computer or the interface was sloppy... The integration between the iphone and the computer is simply genius, I have had 8gb phones before, but never put more than a couple of songs, right now I am listening to my music (currently consists of 800 songs and a ciple of movies) while writing this post. I was surprised my self to READ that this phone had only a 2 mp camera, but one picture and eveything was clear... The # of mp isn't anything, its the right software (I wish I could post a picture or something). This phone feels like it was designed with me in mind. It has everything I want and nothing I don't. Bluetooth connection, MMS, and someother stuff people mentioned, honestly I never really used it on my other phones, and the INTERNET integration in this phone can be described in just one word, Genius. The pictures can be emailed within a couple of seconds. (btw, one I it favorite things about the phone... The keyboard, OMG, I typed this whole post without looking back to see if I made a typing error... I can type without looking at the phone for gods sake. The keyboard is simply genius it guesses what words you meant to type and learns your typing patterns. This is the first phone I have owned on which I probably spend more time on the Internet, listening to music, WATCHING movies (seriously, better than DVD), than I hVe on anyothe phone. Notice this is all without mentioning the installer. Which gives me unlimited power over the phone.

The iPhone 3G is a nice phone, but I don't like the idea of forcibly being on a subscription with a carrier in order to have this phone. Why does apple always want to "tie up" the iPhone with a carrier. Why is it so hard for them to sell the iPhone like how they sell an iPod, "no strings attached?"

Its cool dont get me wrong but iphone has alienated itself by forcing subscriptions first time with iphone 2g. I remember trying to get one but couldn't and a woman at an english store said i would need to hack it for it to work. They were mean an stupid by encouraging hackers onto the phone and weakening osx as a system with people realizing its layout from hacking the iphone.
