New Zealand has 3G...but pfft its only available on vodaphone in new zealand...which means its up tah fu ck all...put it on telecom and i would buy it

even in Romania we have excellent 3g (up to 7.2mbps) coverage!!!..provided by: 1 ORANGE
2 vodafone
and 3 (a new network...they came directly with 3g capability..but with less coverage -they are just at the beginning)- Cosmote

Greetings from sri lanka to apple iphone.we are eagerly waiting the arrival of the iphone to our little tropical 14.4mbs HSPDA enabled country.hehe
here for every 20mb we surf we get 200mb for free.

Haha, im sorry that you guys are so behind in technology to think that America doesn't have 3G. Not only have we HAD 3G for the past 2 years or so, we have been utilizing it in a much more efficient way than many other, (and i wont say which country here), have been. So YES, America DOES have 3G, and its been around....for a WHILE. AT&T..and soon to be T-mobile. sheesh

but even most places in latin america have at least umts
mexico
argentina
brazil
chile
peru
etc..

Philippine has 3G network with its 2 major telecom company Globe and Smart. now so much for the 3G network now back with the iPhone3G....

YES - US has 3G - but from what I know, only Cingular provides it... and its a bit expensive -

There is 3G all over america. It fight not be the largest coverage, but its in almost everysingle major city. AT&T has updated their system to HSPA with sppeds right now up to 1.7Mbps. Everything from here on out is mostly software upgrades and they have announced that by the end of next year it will be up to 20mbps by the end of 2008
