After restarting every time, my iphone 3G shows 'no sim card inserted' even if the sim card is actually in. then I need to open the tray when the set is 'on', insert the tray again, then it detects the sim card.
how can i solve this problem?

Worst phone I've ever owned. I work for a mobile network and would never recommend one of these handsets to anyone.
Its only a year old now, its unlocked through apple correctly and its the worst possible experience ever.
Charging 3 times daily with very little usage and the usual battery saving things in place(Dimming backlight etc) and painfully slow.
