It is a good phone but sometimes create a prob of network. So it's a big prob of this but looks very nice.

Press and hold power button and does it come up the apple symbol but very dim?... have to look carefully..
Also attempt the restore option and see if it can work.. sadly this will restore the phone as stock.. or restore to previous point (back up point)...
No signal: can you open apps? internet regardless.. can you open a game and stay in that game?
Is the phone unlocked? if so can you try another sim and your sim in another phone?
Have you tried rebooting the phone, airplane mode and manually searching for other networks?
It could be the phone, software, sim card and/or local area signal
Call your service provider to make sure no local problems.
Last resort: back up and restore the phone

Talking about speed if 3g upgraded to 4 & above, no there is no speed issue. It functions normally.
