It's for convenience. Each user have unique uses of their phones. The apps are there to cater for each user's unique wants. A lot of useful apps are free. I don't need all of them cramped into my phone. With thr apps store, I have to freedom to pick and choose the apps for me that are helpful for me.

Real Iphone users know quality and know what device to use to get high quality results. You are the simpleton, not us. You're the kind who would settle for mediocre quality and is easily impressed with lengthy spec sheets and high numbers which does not really equate to high quality but rather compromising and mediocre results. Iphone users are practical. We know what features really matters on a phone. We don't get easily impressed with pages and pages of specs and features, but more on the devices' performance.

That's a ludicrous thing to say. Yes, maybe a lot of features on the iphone already existed on other devices, but so what? Apple was able to better implement those already existing features in a more friendly and more useful way, and that is why it is selling more. Now is that a bad thing? Of course not. So again, it is obvious that you are just another bitter Nokia fan who hates the iphone because it does better than your nokia device on features that really matters.

Does Nokia or Others did the same way before the first iphone 2G release out? No, One I think. Many Apple`s competitors were tried to make the similar phones to attract the customers, but surely iphone is still the winner. Revolutioner and Excellent Touch Screen phone is Iphone. So my word is right Others Can Only Follows.

As Apple is a profit machine and iphone users are blind spenders, try to have some logic on your mind its free you know, it's already built it...

MHL, 03 May 2010so whats your point? if you dont want it so why do you bash... morei don't hate iphone as a beautiful device on it's own, it's just that i don't see a solid logic for it's price, & why so many people want a hold on it, probably most of them see it as an expensive status quo (for sure majority are social climbers), probably most of them hasn't grasp the latest tech as of date other than flashy UI (pretty UI takes their breath away already), probably it's a simple device for a simple one track minded users (even the users don't know how to multitask), probably most of them weren't willed/witted enough from the aggressive ads, probably all of them thinks they don't know how to weight the value of money, and the list goes on...

I think this forum only shows how GOOD IPHONE is... hahaha! the more iphone haters comment the more intriguing iphone goes, this is what they call very bad publicity. The more they say suthin for iphone the more Iphone shines. very nice... =)

Ive tried once an Iphone 3Gs from my friend, ol I could say is the UI experience is unmatched by any other OS. (the fluidity of animation), but when I tried to use its MP3 player, every1 knows it's not it's forte, tried to snap sum pics and then again every1 knows it's not its specialization again and tried to send MP3 thru bluetooth to my laptop, hhhmmnn it takes around 1 hour oh wait it was not successful, so afraid of buying expensive gadget that would not deliver equivalent technologies of its price other than UI experience. And hearing that Apple techs forbids transfer of media from iphone to another device in the future and the company's strategy tells me what I need rather what I want, that scares me alot it's like a gold chain in my neck dragging me along where to pee, to eat, to sleep, it's like a domesticated dog experience.
