Would love some advice. I purchased Iphone 3gs in Sept 210 on a bus plane. I love the phone but I have had problems with it dying midway through conversations. I took it back to Optus and they put in a new sim card. All fine for awhile then when I wanted to make a call, nothing black screen so had to reboot.I pay insurance monthly, now they tell me it was water damaged, when I told them IT HAS NEVER SEEN WATER, THEY THEN TOLD ME I DROPPED IT which I didn't. I pay $14 insurance monthly, now they tell me I have to pay $250 excess to get it fixed or replaced which I did not know about.They have had my phone for 4 weeks yet I am still paying insurance for a phone I don't even have anyone had sim problems. If GSM arena wants to suggest that the iphone 3gs has superb audio I would ask how scientific this test is. I will put it to you this way, take an old Motorola v8 put some music on it and let it play, do the same thing with the iphone 3gs and you tell me which has better audio. It is not even close. What bothers me the most is that you actually seem to take this review as the word of God. You dont think that the speaker position on the iphone is stupid at best? Have you ever played a game in landscape mode? You end up cover the speaker every time.

I think Apple entering the mobile market was the worst thing to happen to the industry. Whats the point in making a 3G phone when you cant even make a simple video call? They hold off on adding in features such as a better camera, improved video recording or flash on there camera to later versions of the phone just to get people to spend more money on upgrading. I mean in the UK you cant get the phone for free on a sandard £35 18 month contract and on top of that your paying more for the apps which you dont need.
