He had the impudence to label my question as stupid but then went into an overdrive and tried to counter my logical question with a ------ question. Well I am a professional and a little bit educated, may be a notch or two below your paradigm, but still cultured enough not to call you names.
If you do not like a particular product for one reason or another, do not buy it. For Gods sake do not go into a verbal diarrhea and bulldoze your views just to show off.
In my humble opinion, I-Phone is the best phone available in the market at this moment in time as far as the Touch screen, Sunlight legibility, music with Head phones on, Videos and games, internet browsing, applications, after sales service and the built quality is concerned. I could only think of Samsung Wave as a worthy contender in this spectrum. This is my opinion and may be millions out there would agree with me. No one need to burst their blood vessels or start splitting their hairs over a casual comment.
P.S; Nowadays phones have become mobile computers and most of the people definitely use them for browsing. I-Phone excels in this area.

I just need to stop people in their tracks before things get silly 'an x6 over an iphone' are you on crack? An iphone isn't even a media device its much more than that! Agreed, I'll give you the music quality on the X6 is better, bubt what else? They still use the same touchscreen flow that the 5530 used (poor)! The only dated thing about the iphone is you can't view flash, and how can they fix that??? A simple software upgrade we can all download....for free...next competitor, I wait in anticipation

this phone is good for nothing n worst for everything. This phone is stupid from hardware to software. This phone is design to flow ur money into Jobs pocket , thats all , clever pp will understand but less clever pp keep on defend n worship. No one will blame less clever pp but everyone will envy the clever one .the one pp envy surely not the iphone worshiper bcos there r in less clever category, bwaaaahahahahahaha

I was helping my friend with a blackberry look for a metronome application (she plays piano) and there was ONE app available on the app world for Blackberry... For TEN bucks. It looked very cheaply made, especially in comparison to the 2 dollar app I got from the app store, within which there are dozens of different ones to choose from, ranging from FREE to maybe 5 bucks.
Seriously, the value you get from an app in the Apple app store is amazing. The quality is probably better than any other apps from any other app store, and the prices are VERY competitive, of the dozens of apps I have, I have only paid for maybe 8 of them: IM, metronome, some VERY high quality 3D games (as opposed to word mole or sudoku. The amount of polish in every app is only possible because of the application process enforced by Apple. Think before you make such a statement.

nokia x6 is better. i had this iphone 3gs about 3 months ago. then now i have my x6 for almost 2 weeks and x6 is really the best.

Even other manufacturers realize that, and that is why they try to copy the iphone and keeps an eye on what's next with the iphone. And yes, the iphone does outperform all of its rivals. I have tried them all, and no other touchscreen phone offers the same responsiveness and intuitiveness that the iphone offers. No other phone offers the most systematic integration of services like the iphone does with apps, music, videos, books, security, updates, etc.

Locking the iphone to a carrier has nothing to do with Apple's technology, sales figures yes, but not technology. It's a business decision that they had to make. Whether the iphone is locked or unlocked, I don't care, I will still buy it. You are not making sense in tying Apple's technology into their business decision.
