Neilleeds, 09 Mar 2010Has anyone compared the HTC HD2 and the iPhone 3GS? I'm lo... moreI have an iPhone 3GS since January, and it work perfectly fine.
I´m working in a Communications/Sistems enviroment, and i use all the potential that the iphone could give to me.
E-mail, Internet, thousands of apps to do ANITHYNG! phone, 3G Modem, GPS, VPN, Mail and calendar updates instantly from my iPhone or from my computer at office, it open PDF's, Word, Exel, Powerpoint, Videos .mov, voice commands, voice dialing, bluetooth, syncronization with Exchange, or Lotus notes corporative, and all of this, whit the most important and most effective Operating System that a CellPhone ever have. Windows movile OS users have hundreds of problems, but iPhone NO.
Is simply: the iphone OS really works. And never crash.
And is the camera too, that takes incredible photos and videos and can upload at your favorite social network...
Is like a mini-ultra power computer in the palm of your hand, and you can too use all the professionals tools for movile office.
    Greetings from Argentina.

Why dont you point out strengths and weaknesses of each phone rather than immediately bash everything thats not an iphone? The iphone is good some areas and bad in some areas just like every other phone. There is no phone that is the best, each one will have pros and cons.

The Nokia N900 will no doubt be littered with bugs and after a few months will follow the path of the N97 and be another phone with great hype and little end product. Plus the N900 is a brick, I dont wanna be carrying a phone around in a laptop case thank you very much!!

The HTC HD2 is a good business phone but overall its another phone littered with bugs. Plus WinMo is slow! A friend of mine bought the HD2 with all the hype, 2 months on and he's saying its an ok phone, not great as he when 1st had it.

Ok it all boils down like this. People will have their own tastes in phones and will always choose a handset which is right for them. Some will choose HTC, some will choose Nokia, some will have non touchscreen, etc....However when you have people coming into the iPhone forum bashing the iPhone, saying they hate it, saying us iPhone users are this and that, blah blah blah, this clearly means the iPhone is great! Its a success. Its a well established phone. Why else would people come to the iPhone forum to bash the phone? Why come into the iPhone forum when you have no intention of getting the phone?

Anger against Apple when you dont have their product means they have created something special which you secretely desire but are fighting off your own feelings to play devils advocate!

Neilleeds, 09 Mar 2010Has anyone compared the HTC HD2 and the iPhone 3GS? I'm lo... moreYes the interface is really great.. I bought it last week and the interface cannot be compared with other phones.. But reagrding the office work HTC is great..
If you want to go for good interfce and multimedia go with iphone but if want for office works go for HTC..
Get an HTC HD2 and an ipod touch which is same as iPhone without phone...

Has anyone compared the HTC HD2 and the iPhone 3GS? I'm looking to get a smartphone and although the iPhone looks very attractive, not sure it's functionality would be that of a windows mobile when it comes to office-on-the-move type work.

              Any suggestions would be appreciated.

                  Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Yeah, bluffing?

So tell me this would you go into the Tax office wherever you are and "bluff" and tell them you make more than you do?

See Apple pays tax on their income and iPhone sales are part of that income so when they say they sold 25 million, they pay tax on 25 million sales.

That would mean they lose money because they would be paying more tax than they make.

Do you understand why Apple isn't "bluffing" with their sales figures?

Looks like another "iPhone killer" bites the dust:-

We previously estimated that Google might sell 3.5 mn Nexus One units in 2010. Initial data-points were disappointing, possibly due to limited marketing and customer service challenges. Flurry estimated (based on mobile traffic) that Google sold 20,000 in the first week, and 80,000 in the first month, both annualizing to 1.0 mn. We forecast that Google sells 1.0 mn Nexus One units in FY2010, benefiting from US carriers other than T-Mobile, and non-US carriers such as Vodafone, promoting the device too, but suffering from limited marketing activity. We assume that Google rolls out a second Nexus handset, markets it more aggressively, and makes it available offline, and therefore forecast that Google sells 2 mn handsets per year in 2011 and future years. — Goldman Sachs

i am not saying that the iphone not a is a good smartphone, didn't mean to come across that way.
what i am saying is if apple sell this smartphone unlock to the public like it's sold in canada & europe the iphone would owned the US market.
let me put is this way to you i work for the federal agency that's responseable for testing all technology before you the public have access to them that's how i know if apple unlock all of the iphone technology i the iphone no other smartphone could come close to it.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I don't want a phone you have to use sideways most of the time.

I like doing one handed messaging.

I don't like screens you poke with a stick.

I don't want to install an application for MMS that only lets me send one picture.

                              The N900 fails MY criteria.

I'm actually using an iPod Touch 3G 32gb, which is a No-Phone version of 3G S. I can tell you that much, it's an amazing piece of equipment. It is just perfect for home and outdoors entertainment, WiFi is a killer, UI is sweet. I dont really need a cell phone, that's why I got an iPod, but if I will ever need a phone it's definitely gonna be an iPhone!!
                                Peace =))

Iphone 3gs is the best phone ever. I have tried many phones in the past and the iphone gives the best user experience among all of them. It has some missing features that would be nice to have, but nothing big that would hurt or cripple you. And it offers so much more that it's worth the sacrifice of not having those missing features like bt. Although I do have a couple of issues with the iphone, I still think that it's the best. I wish Apple will fix copy and paste in sending sms. It seems that when you copy and paste in sending sms, the receiver does not receive anything (unless they also have an iphone), so you end up typing the whole thing.
