Seriously are you an ex Apple employee? Do you want the iPhone but just cannot get one? Im just wondering why you and a few others are so dead against this beauty??? We as customers chose this phone because we like this phone. Its as simple as that. I have a good mobile phone knowledge and know when a phone is rubbish or substandard, if the iPhone was so bad I would never have got it! The fact that its really, really good phone is what matters to me. Again, if the phone was that bad I would have chosen another handset! lol
So if you, or other anti iPhoners wanna save the world from Apple, you have a hard task in your hand! lol

Wow so many iPhone haters here! Look no need to hate greatness! If you love your own phone then great, otherwise dont slate the iPhone.
How can people come here and compare their Nokia's to the iPhone? I have used Nokia for over 10 years, always going for their flashiest handsets and I can say that although Nokia are brilliant with the UI, the N series is littered with bugs. I know so many people who have had the N series, inc myself, and the phones have bugs galore!
Also it has taken Nokia a few years to even bring out a handset to compete with the iPhone. In fact, the only manufacturer that is really competing with Apple is HTC. But even they still have a way to go to bring out a handset which is deemed an "iPhone Killer".
In fact all manfacturers have a way to go before the overtake the iPhone in terms of overall brilliance, and when they do bring out a phone better than the 3GS, Apple will bring out the next iPhone which will bring them back to the top again :)

Besides, special iphones have been made that sell for millions of dollars, not just thousands.
Generally speaking, nokias are cheaper phones than iphones, thats why they use cheap plastic and cheap resistive touchscreen, not to mention cheaper hardware. It is a great selling point, but it is what it is.

Why Apple offer over 100,000 Applications but do not offer in this handset built-in any call blocking and message blocking feature or function in it ??
Why is it reason Apple stay away from offering this Application or build in feature?????

i got the n900. Briliant phone. much better than the 3gs. I had a look at the samsung amoled and sony ericsson x10. these are all much better phones than the 3gs. I sold the 3gs and am glad i did. The app store only has a few decent apps. the rest are unnecessary. the browser of the n900 is much better than the 3gs. You can actually watch you tube on it. The screenis really responsive and I prefer using a stylus. The 3gs price should drop to a mid range phone price. You dont get what you pay for.
