probably you don't know that they spend probably billions of dollars that's why its so expensive. they put all the available technology and did the consumer research. remember that one of the missing thing that they miss is a cut and copy thing. talk about high tech

Press the home button while in a call.
You are in the menu.
Open messaging and start typing your message.
Send.
Touch the green bar across the top of the screen to return to your call or keep messing around with things in the menu.
Open the browser, check your Email, whatever you want.
There that's not so hard is it?

Apple needs to give us some sort of update. The iphone OS is getting boring, though it is clean and simple there are some serious shortcomings having applications scattered everywhere. They need to clean up and organize the screens better. I would like there to be profiles which only display the relevant applications. I want to be able to send a text message while I am already on the phone without having someone send me one (you can only reply now while using the phone).
I hope they decide to use a rubberized plastic on the next incarnation as the plastic on the 3gs is brittle and slippery. I want an iphone that I don't need to put a case on. Apple needs to improve the speakers for both calls and media as well as integrate a better antenna.

The aren't the largest music store on earth for no reason.
The App store is the the largest software store on earth as well.
No-one else has anything like it, integration of services.
Acer has announced that they won't even bother making a competitor for the iPad, they can't match what it can do because of iTunes and other integrated services (MobileMe etc).
The average user doesn't want to mess around with cracking things or searching pirate sites, they just want something that works.
If people weren't buying things there would be no content.
Apple has bought LaLa a music streaming company, they have bought a GPS mapping company, they are building a massive, billion dollar server farm in North Carolina.
This will all come together using high speed Internet connections so you will have access to everything you want from everywhere you go, easily and readily available.
You can spend hours trying to set up similar functionality across a multitude of providers or you can tap an icon on an iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad and have it working in seconds.
Too bad if you have to spend a couple of bucks here and there, it's your pocket change you can choose how you spend it.

its just like they are very good in sales talking and here the stup!d and !d!ot people buying their products too much amazed of this promotions and advertisements.
anyway, we all are given our option. if u opted to be stupid then go ahead but if u opted to be smart and practical then u know what to do.

I'd been a nokix fan since 3310, my last phone was E90, get bored of it & now using iPhone 3gs... Simple & these are the functionality that I need in the phone. No regrets having it, I'm enjoying all the functions..., especially emails & it's fluidity...
I'm happy for now...:)

Bet u r one of the drivers who saw my old iPhone and dont know the difference bet a 2g and a 3gs since u cant afford one hehehe...

The iPhone has a built in writing tool for budding writers, if they are writing rubbish it automatically calls itself and deletes the poor quality prose.
