Today, the BlackBerry dominates the smartphone market with 40% market share, followed by the iPhone with 25%, according to data released by ComScore in December. In the near term, both are expected to stay at the top. ComScore found that most consumers who'll be shopping for smartphones in the next three months plan to purchase a Blackberry (51%) or an iPhone (20%).

What about the music with head phones on with appropriate EQ settings? What about thousands of useful applications? What about the brilliant screen even under direct sun light? What about the user friendliness? e-mails, games and there are loads to speak about. Of course there are few shortcomings such as the camera & battery life. No arguments there. Nevertheless it is increasingly becoming a vexation to read/hear such vilification against I Phone. Begining to wonder whether there is a hidden agenda and or any personal vendetta against this groovy handset. S.Sri-UK

In my opinion, new standard for smartphone must have AMOLED Screen, at least 720p HD video recording, at least 8MP Cam, 1GHz processor, HSDPA 7.2MBps HSUPA 5.76MBps, enhanced built-in GPS wl A-GPS, 5.1 surround, at least 32GB on board memory.

if comparing handphone, i lose to nokia , samsung, htc etc, if compare to pc, i lose to window, im such a failure, oh, there is one more thing i lose, my ipod lose if compare to sony.
i think i better go back doing farming, but i still scare of losing in selling vegetable, im realy failure

HTC HD2 is a good exmaple they just cant accept the fact that is far mroe high tech and is a best phone currently

I am getting really fed up with my 3GS. I wont blame the numerous dropped calls on the inability for me to send a text at moments notice on Apple. But I will blame the horrible reception as compared to any Motorola phone I have used, the low quality speaker and the mediocre call quality. I suppose most of the people who buy the iphone dont seem to make phone calls with it. I have used the speakerphone a few times and it is a total disaster, the sound is horrible. I cannot understand what Apple was thinking? Remember those mono speakers that Apple installed in the second generation ipod touch, you know the ones that you could not hear anything on? I do because I spent over $400 on one. That is after spending over $400 on a first generation ipod touch with no speaker. Either I'm extremely cynical or Apple has a sinister agenda with these incremental upgrades. I find it rather uproarious that my two year old+ destroyed Motorola V8 has superior call quality, reception and speaker. It tells me a lot about the way Apple thinks. Okay having said that, I have found some really great apps in the applications store like: reel director, red laser, dropbox. remote, awesome note, photo studio, auto stitch and others. This is definitely a very capable handset, just wish is would serve it's intended purpose of being a phone more effectively.
