Come on you are men... moreI acknowledge that the HTC HD2 and X10 are definitely phones to be reckoned with, but even so sometimes simplicity is really the best thing to have. I have seen the HTC HD2 in action and I must say I am quite impressed with it's snappiness and ossum interface, not to mention huge screen and great resolution. X10 is also quite nice. Moto Droid is decent, but I found hardware keyboard to be insufficient, and it does lag slightly. Generally speaking the HD2, X10 and Droid are all great phones. As far as iphone-killing goes, however...
It's about how streamlined everything is. There is no file manager, and memory card slot, and there are no folders and menus to go through. Everything is organized very simply so that the greatest amount of things can be done with the least amount of work. In my opinion you sacrifice a small amount of functionality for a huge amount of convenience. Everything you want is literally right at your fingertips. No menus and OS versions and compatibility issues. I had N75 with symbian S60 3rd and it was a nightmare having to navigate countless menus to find what I installed or where I downloaded something.
It would be interesting to pit a veteran iphone user, winmo user, and android user against each other doing things like sending txts, making calls, loading webpages, and setting alarms and calendar entries. I bet I could do any of those things faster than any winmo or android user. I'm a master of the iphone :)

As for x6 i think i cant help u coz i haven't touched that phone even once....
But Iphone is worth the money.....
In the end its ur choice..
Better u go to the store that sells x6 and take a look at it , try its interface and all.. and also go and take a look at the iphone buy which one u like the best ...

I don't know why u guys are arguing uselessly .
Iphone is Iphone thats it.Its just like the mighty windows 98 ....
With jailbreaking the iphone u can do stuff with iphone u never thought of..
U guys are just arguing abt the iphone in its non-jailbreaked state....
75% of the iphone users jailbreak their phone and they do transfer files via bluetooth and do stuffs like multitasking,etc which u mention as impossible or can't in iphone...
So the bottom line is "Iphone Does"...

Other phones don't offer the integration with iTunes that the iPhone does, iTunes is the biggest retailer of music on earth no-one comes close.
No other phones offer the App store which is part of iTunes.
One touch and you can get almost anything you want straight to your iPhone.
No other phones offer the usability, stability and reliability of Unix based iPhone OS.
Stay in your little blinkered world of what you you think other people need people can make up their own minds and a lot of them choose iPhones then say it's the best phone they've ever used.

Guys please no need to be so sensitive. Come on you are men not a girl to hurt her feeling easily. What I'm saying is that apple is fooling you with this toy called iphone.
Trust me try other handsets for your self, just try them that's all I'm asking. iphone is not worth it.
You are really missing many things a smartphone can do. One of them is that you can't transfer any thing by bluetooth and a second thing is that you can't play videos on the Internet without an application like the one for youtube.
And let's not forget the pathetic camera and the battery that won't last more than one. All I'm saying for you iphone users next time just try another cellphone, don't buy it just check it out.
Only then you will understand what I mean. If you really love your iphone badly, just take an ipod touch is will do the job. And have for your self a true smartphone.
Since your paying money you deserve something that's worth it. And only then apple will respect their users and modify the iphone.

Iphone is good but it's have a great disadvantage that is bluetooth device can't transfar any file to othe bluetooth device.iphone app store is great but safari browser is not good it's slow than other phone browser and it's have not flash player like skyfire.safari can't play video in online with this browser.

It's over for iphone man. Because as you said Iphone may lack many features but it was always ahead when it came to it's touch screen and it's speed and now this is something from the past.
Iphone has nothing now and I mean nothing. Only an expensive price for a useless handset.
If you like it just go with the touch ipod and trust me it will do the job with half price!

I'm tired of people posting the long list of things that the iphone doesn't do specs-wise. Anybody that uses a winmo phone and the iphone one after the other will immediately realize that winmo is pathetically slow and laggy compared to the iphone. Even using touchpro 2, HTC's new business smart phone, I found myself waiting for a response for at least 4-5 seconds after pressing a button on the keyboard or touchscreen. The Iphone, of course, is by far the snappiest, least laggy response of almost any phone. This is undeniable when you juxtapose the two phones, and it applies to just about every other winmo phone or even Android. You honestly could never even compare the two phones, Android and winmo don't stand half a chance as they are now.

i bought iphone 3gs 32gb recently. let me tell u its beyond my expectations :P everybody says its soo limited in what u can do and mac limits your freedom. legally it is true but there are thousands of way to make the most use of this device! the one and only thing i am not happy about is the battery life as i use it too often for too many different purposes. definitely best phone i saw so far :)

The system is simple in use, but the system itself is quite complicated... you just have to drop the phone.. happend to 3 users I know.
But I agree its one of the better phones on the market right now!!
