Yes other phones have better specs but along with the high specs comes high bugs and crashes. At least the iPhone is much more stable than most phones out there. Im going to be getting the iPhone soon as it is the most fun to use phone out in the market. Thats more important to me than having a big camera and so with many bugs to match it.

I-Phone.. is nice.. BUT
Its so limited...
Check out the new commers..
HTC Bravo.. 1Ghz.. 3,7 inch screen.. Anroid 2.0
Or HTC Legend.. these are so much better phones..
Moch more possibilities!!

to all you iphone lovers. u all care way to much about it, its only a phone!!!!!!! it doesnt have full internet no matter wt you all say.!!!!!! its not even quick if u compare it a netbook. so y would spend so much money on this? if it was free on a good price plan then maybe, bt as it stands its just a massive waist of money. apple branding? do u alot even have mac's!!!

Iphone is just xtra $$ out of your pocket.They say 80000 application but most of it cost 3 $ each.And you will use them a few times only.Get a PDA with windows or symbian.At least you can get those same programs for free somewhere and even the fancy Iphone icon application is free to upload if you want your windows pda to look like an iphone menu.

HI everybody...I wonder what u think i should choose.
I really want i new phone but cant choose which one to get so ive been searching nd stuff,so i decided to let you guys help me,so I really want the iphone 3gs...is it any good? or I either want the up comming samsung Diva but the problem is that if i buy the diva Im afraid i will regret buying it nd want the iphone in stead.but if i buy the iphone im afraid that it wont be a good phone or if i will regret buying it becsause of the cost...please help....

My iPhone 3Gs works fine with my laptop,i'm using Vista and its only downside is a bit slow starting sync.when connecting iPhone to my laptop,apart from that nothing serious problems that would make me changing my vaio to macbook.
As for service center issue,in my country as long as the malfunctioning of iPhone is caused by manufacture's fault,they replace the handset with a brand new one if it still has warranty.
And the virtual keyboard is thumb-able,it's the easiest & most responsive among touchscreen phones i've ever tried.

i need someone to help out i got one 3gs 32gb iphone in uk as (pay as u go) but when i got to africa i cant use it, its showin the apple logo and cable on display. do i need to unlock it? how? but its not a contract phone.
i even gave it to someone to unlock he said its a high version so what do i do?

one more i forgot...
what do you 3gs' say about typig on the screen keyboard? is it comfortable and easy to use after a few weeks of use? also, I type ALOT, is it easy to thumb-type in the horizontal aspect or does it become annoying and tiring after a while? and do you get alot of spelling mistakes while you're at it?

Hey all. Thanks for anyone who replied to my q. I have a few other things that i'm thinking about. In my case, being a med student, I want to be able to download ANY program (dictionary, e-books, med programs, some games, etc......) I want to my smartphone. Does the 3gs do That??? or does it have limitations (file type etc....)? And being a normal phone user up til now (SE k770i!) as for music files can only be downloaded off itunes. true?
Also, how much does the device cost in the EU at the moment? the 16 and 32 G?
Does anyone have any personal experience (I hope not though) with the customer service of the iphone? Because I've heard many stories that their services are not good and they seem to screw you over at times...?
If I buy it unlocked with no contract, how much warranty time do i get?
I use windows on my laptop and i'm comfortable with it. Does the 3gs accomodate to it? I also heard that it is annoying unless you use Mac OS.
i'd appreciate it if someone can tell me how much of this is true and answer my q's.

i like this phone but unfortunately i will not buy it coz of lacking of blutooth.
