Its amazing and beats every other phone.
After using Nokia, SE, Samsung - the 3GS is a pleasure to use. Superb touch, Safari is great - if only they could increase the battery life.

I have only had the iphone for a month now, I am still getting used to it. I travel a lot for work and that is my preoccupation. When I am travelling, I use my phone a lot since I do not have my laptop on hand at all times. I am looking forward to seeing if the iphone will last a full day without a charge. Of course, it is all about planning, starting the day with a full charge, and charging when I get back to my laptop in my hotel room. I will definitely have a charger on hand at all times for my first trip with the phone.
Overall, the iphone is a beautiful phone; I would say that its touch screen and responsiveness is the best I have seen so far on any phone.

Before buying a phone, know first what you want and need. Not every fone can satisfy your every need. I've been with Nokia, LG Arena and Iphone... Most of my phones are from Nokia. One thing that separates iPhone to others is its speed and the super responsive touch screen. LG Arena has good eye candies as well but tends to be slow in responding. Nokia interface is too old looking (just my opinion). I'm not an Apple fan but, I just love this fone because it satisfies most of my needs plus the appstore... If you have iPhone 3G, I suggest you not buy 3GS and wait for another realease. Not that much change. If you're looking for a nice cam, a lot of fones offers 8 and up MP like the new LG Viewty. I've seen comments that are hate vs hate, it will not help buyers. For me, iPhone 3GS is the best phone I ever had so far. Not because it's apple, not because of it's 3.2 MP camera (wow !!! lol), not because it is very popular... But because, most of the features I am looking for a phone is in iPhone (plus the fact that I don't have to buy a separate mp3 player, I was about to buy an iPod touch)... And an addition, do not be fooled by the specs, try the phone first to make sure that the hardware and software integration is good.

I use my iphone a lot which would drain its battery quickly. So the practical solution would be, bring your charger with you at all times and have a car charger. I never had a problem with the iphone going low on battery. I would do the same if I had the htc hd or the n900. As a matter of fact, I've always done so even when I had my n95.
