The main things I use on my current phone (tocco) are internest browsing, checking e mails, games, calendar, photos and videos. The main thing I don't like about the tocco is that there aren't many (any?) apps for it and that it doesn't have wifi, so it costs a fortune to surf.
The other main thing I like about the iphone is the apps that are available. I have a few ideas for apps that i'd like to develop too.
In terms of photos, the tocco has 5mp so the iphone would be a downgrade, although I've heard that the quality is quite good for the camera on it.
One concern is the bluetooth feature on the iphone. Am I right in thinking that it shoudl work with my sat nav hands-free kit, but that it won't transfer files between phones?
The expandability of the iphone is a major attraction, with the apps, but maybe there is another phone that does this just as well that I should consider?

this definitely cant be the best phone bcos it has some features you may like,while for others a phone is determined by the user as for me dont like it it has alot missing!!

Hi, really considering an iPhone for my next upgrade (i've had sony ericsson, nokia and samsung in the past, so I'm not afraid of learning a new device). My query is this....are there any alternatives that I should consider? Is it still the best, was it ever the best, or is there anything that's definitely better than it?

I have this phone for one week now and I have to say it is absolutely brilliant! I think is the best mobile phone ever made on the market! well done apple!!!
By the way the new camera and video are just superb.

just got my iphone 3GS yesterday. so far so good. the only think i don't like is the battery life. easily drain specially when using the games. but other features are great.....love it so far.......

I need a computer to produce my work that I get paid for. Suggesting that I use a smart phone for that is absurd. I can multi task and have everything on one big screen on a PC doing that on any phone on a 3’’ screen is just ridiculous.
My phone is an extension of my work and home computers. I can be mobile and have all the communication commodities where ever I go. It’s my music player, my phone, receive email and text, browse the web and use my apps when I need information’s, directions. It’s a mobile multimedia tool used when I am away from my PC. If you want to use your Smartphone all day for all your needs that your thing.
I sync my phone everyday at home and work to update my calendars I know what USB dose. I do prefer charging from a power outlet, it’s a quicker charge.
