if u don belif me, try to get a iphone, then u will know it is worst phone ever made with such expensive price.

everyone is very sure apple made those profit by selling it low tech iphone with expensive price, not only iphone, apple pc n mp3 player oso the same

nokia don earn as much as apple cos it is selling its high end phone at reasonable price

the most important part is nokia don show off like apple. nokia hav the greatest tech n not show like apple. apple still can show off its lousiest tech everywhere, shame lolx

Nafis Hakim Mondol, 18 Nov 2009How i can transfer my contact number from Nokia E71 to iPho... moreEasyest way is to copy all yout contacts to sim and then import the contacts on the iPhone.

You could also try a complicated method with Outlook, nokia pc suit and iTunes, I advise the sim card trick though.

CocoCola and Anonymous, both of you make some very valid points, I appreciate that.

Under no circumstances am I saying the iPhone is special! If it was, id have one myself by now!!! When my contract was up for renewal a few weeks ago I could have opted for the iPhone, but I decided it wasnt quite for me due to some restrictions on the phone.

However, I have been to many phone forums and YES you do get phone bashing by many phone fans going into other phone forums. Apple fans probably do the same on other phone forums. Personally, I think its immature and playground stuff, you know when your at School and a kid says to another kid "my toy is better than your toy"...People have the rights to opinions and thats the beauty of debate. However some of these debates are quite heated and anger filled over a MOBILE PHONE of all things!!!!

I will stick by what I say that Apple has set a benchmark for touchscreen mobiles, it has revolutionised the mobile phone industry and it has created fierce competition between mobile phone manufacturers. There are so many strong handsets out there, its hard to chose from, however its all about individual taste. Therefore for someone to say the iPhone is rubbish or the worst phone of 2009 (cNet take notice)its an individual opinion and not an official statement on behalf of everyone.

                                1) it is far from what it was advertised and that includes the many GSM sites on apple's payroll that have agressivley promoted and compared it to smartphones. Many cheaper phones are much more advanced.

                                2) iPhone has a great impact on teenagers that have almost no clue about smartphones and go bragging and trolling on every mobile forum they encounter - at some point this was bound to come back.

                                Do you call this bashing?

I don't, it's stuff that is obvious even here on GSMArena when you compare the 3GS to anything else. You said how "compared" iPhone is, I think this is the ultimate comparison - and continuously bashing and trolling on almost all other smartphone manufacturers should have been expeced to bring something like this.

Yes it's small files now, but Android market is new (or not been around for some time like app store), but they are growing fast.

And there's also a lot of new Android phones with serious specs are in line to be released, so you have many options here regarding the handset of your taste.

Pepsi you made some very valid points earlier, similar to what I said about the iPhone. Hats off to you for putting it nicely :)

See I have to say this again. The iPhone has revolutionised the way we use mobile phones and has set a benchmark for touchscreen mobile phones. It definately aint for all tastes and I personally didnt go for the iPhone due to some of its restrictions and it doesnt cater for my specific tastes. However I have handled the iPhone and I have to say it definately is a great phone. The fact that people come here to bash the iPhone means that phone is something to be compared to. I dont often see people saying "my Nokia 97 is better than the LG Viewty Smart" or "my HTC Hero is better than the Palm Pre". Obviously people will say this, but its more often "The so and so phone is better than the iPhone". Or "I hate the iPhone". Or "The iPhone sucks".... Why? Cos the iPhone has set a benchmark in the mobile phone industry.

So all in all, I have to say say well done Apple for creating a mobile phone that is more often talked about and compared with than probably any other mobile phone out in the market.

Too bad Android only supports 256MB of application memory, that rules out a lot of my 4.5GB of iPhone Apps.
