Good arithmetic, by bad english boy. it was 15.600 in january and 14.000 in april out of wich 1600 were already laid off at the time that article was written.

But it's never surprising to see fanboys understand JUST what they want :)))

      HI,
      Recently purchased the iPHONE 3Gs - the device is fantastic except something that am still search for! Flash player which is very important for me and Bluetooth as a second needed option! The current B/T support headset only! Cydia (3rd P.applications provider) did a superb job with many iPhone applications but i still search for both above - any help i do appreciate - Cheers

        Sorry All the "iphone lovers" and "iphone haters" if you have iphone or want it, then good go and buy one and if you hate the iphone just dont buy it. Nobody is paying people to buy the phone, they earned the money and have the right to spend it as they feel. And those who do not want the iphone, nobody has kidnapped your family and for ransom told you to buy an iphone. So please all of you STOP YOUR WHINING

They are two different phones and used in two different ways. The iphone is an entertainment phone period (social networking, games, ect.). The HD2 is a business phone first, with some social networking and entertainment. HTC is adding more entertainment feature's to there phone lines now. Two phones targeted for two different people. HTC has always been a business phone company, that's why they still make Windows mobile phones, and always will. WM7 will be alot better OS (better touch screen). I wouldn't be at all surprised to see alot of Windows 7 features in it.

Thing is if you download something thats incompatible with the phone at least with nokia, it will say not compatible with phone do you wish to continue.I never got that message.Like i said earlier that girl at my workplace was able to call me,i answered she could hear me but i couldnt hear her cause no mic on ipod touch.Sent each other short message via skype.

              I'm an iphone user. Today, I went to the Verizon store to check out the droid. And here's my impression:

              It feels solid in your hand. The keyboard slides out smoothly. Although I've seen and used better keys. I can actual type faster on my iphone's virtual keyboard.

              Touch sensitivity is really good. It's responsive, although the iphone still has the better touchscreen. There's somehow a degree of fluidity and smoothness that the iphone has, that other touchscreen phones just can't seem to match. Although I must say that the droid is not that bad at all, and I would say that if you haven't used an iphone, the droid would do just fine.

              I played around with its screens and apps. It's as quick as the iphone in opening apps. The screen transitions are smooth as well. But loading of pics took a little while. With the iphone, it's instant.

              I'm a facebook addict, so its facebook app was the first one I tried out. For those who haven't used the iphone, I think you'd find its facebook app alright. But for an iphone user like me, it was frustrating and does not come close to the way the iphone's facebook app works.

              I wanted to play around with it more, but I didn't want to hog the device for there were others who were waiting for me.

              My conclusion. It is definitely not an iphone killer, but it is a fine touchscreen phone. It's screen resolution is very nice and actually better than the iphone. But it's ui is still behind the iphone's. As impressive the droid may be, it's not worth for me to switch from an iphone. But for those who never used the iphone and don't want At&t, the droid is definitely the best choice.

Basically it’s the same people doing all the negative posts that’s why they are posting as Anonymous.

                The hate for the iPhone has become ridiculous; every new smartphone is compared against it. Something that unwittingly makes it the de facto smartphone gold standard. Though such comparisons are usually negative they create a situation where the iPhone continues to receive unbelievable air time which does nothing but entrench it as the phone to beat, regardless of its flaws. In other words iPhone haters have a better chance of reducing the popularity of the phone by actually not mentioning it at all. So many phones have come and gone, some simply disappear from our minds and we couldn’t give a ….. But two years after the release of the iPhone which basically hasn’t changed the excitement is still there. The browser wars of the 90s which exposed Microsoft for the monopoly that it is did nothing to stop Internet Explorer from eclipsing Netscape as the preferred browser. Within a few years Netscapes market share fell from 75% to zero as IEs share grew.

                Ironically the “Jesus Phone” like Jesus is persecuted by the prophets of doom (iPhone Haters). LOL! Now that’s funny!!!!! LOL! :-]

There are people who are being paid to bash the iPhone in forums like this, the whole scam is a joke and it’s not even funny. Because the obsession with hating the iPhone doesn’t make sense.

                What makes me laugh is that whereas the reviews of other phones are filled with people who have used the phone, here you get people who admit that there have never used the iPhone saying its crap. People crash the iPhone as if there were being forced to buy it. What the hell does Apples sales or whether people are being fired have anything to do with reviewing this phone. To the people doing the hating there is so much more to life than this pointless bashing of the iPhone, if you think the Touch Pro 2/Ominia/BB Storm is better then good for you, if someone else wants to worship the iPhone and it makes them sleep at night then good for them. Why is it that the person who says, ‘I love HTC and I have never used any other brand, is not labeled an HTC fanboy? Show the same love for the iPhone and you get labeled a fanboy. So wait a minute HTC fanboys are okay and Apple fanboys are not. Read the reviews of any phone and you’ll see that each has its own fanboys.

                In the final analysis we are all Apple fanboys!!! LOL!

                So get over it and get a life.

                    Apple is opening a lot more stores, such as the one that opened in Paris last week, it attracted a line of thousands.

                    They will be employing more staff in all their new stores.

                      The ever increasing profits of apple as the user "P%nm" always advertises are nothing but advertisement themselves.

                      Steve Jobs, the CEO and main animator of apple has been operated on a few months ago for alcoholic cyrosis! I am glad he is better and he has to be since he's the only thing that stands between apple and doom.
                      But really, is that the attitude of the CEO of a winning company? Alcoholism?


                      Actually microsoft owns about 150 millions of stock they bought off apple just after they helped them not to go broke back in '96-'97.

                      Knowing how low the stock value of a barely floating company probably those 150 million have now turned to billions.

                      Main thing why microsoft doesn't pull the plug (because let's be honest when a company fires thousands they're far from doing as well as apple claims) is because microsoft has their own software selling on apple and a fair share of it.

                      So the better apple is doing, the better microsoft is doing.

                          A spec sheet full of features that are too hard or too annoying to use does not make a phone "better".

                          Hence the iPhone came along and shook the whole smartphone market up in just a couple of years, Apple give people what they want, their number one priority has always been the user experience unlike others who just cram in as many features as they can without caring that devices become almost impossible to use and require a real effort to understand.

                                      Microsoft didn't have much choice at the time as some of their executives were looking at facing criminal charges over stealing Quicktime code from Apple, the DOJ was taking a very close look at Microsoft's anticompetitive activities.

                                      Steve Jobs got CEO of the decade from fortune 500 magazine because of the way he turned Apple around and has changed the mobile phone, music, movie and computer industries.

                                      Even now with 7 Microsoft is still copying Apple, 7 now has a taskbar which is very similar to the OSX Dock.
