no phone company want apple OS bcos simple n low tech ,long time ago nokia oredi use it s40 just like 2day iphone simple OS. only apple itself call their iphone as smartphone, what a shame n what make it smart either

I must partly agree with your statement, that indeed people with "some" "success" have an iPhone and the "very" successful ones a Vertu.
Poor and mediocre people, I've seen a lot that either have a touch or an iPhone; it simply makes the feel more respected like "the ambitious and succeed" people.
No matter on wich scale you see success, be it either material or professional, that don't always go together any (wo)man might have an iPhone.
A person that you'll never see holding an iPhone is a GEEK. They are usually people that above anyone else rely on different technical features and most of the geeks I know usualy have one of those REALLY ugly E-seried devices with full qwerty.

Either way unlike on iPhone's small resolution, you CAN simply go to your mail via the web and confortably view your inbox since 5800's resolution is x640 wich is PC-like and all providers will format the page corectly without having to be in "compatibility/phone" mode.

Good touch sensitivity but cheap build quality, crap camera, no bluetooth and buggy OS I dont understand all the hype around this outdated piece of tech.

The 199usd price is offered on AT&T plans.. If you'd like to have it without any strings attached, the price is of course, 3-4x higher..

I will be purchasing an iPhone 3gs 32gb soon but I heard that 3gs 32gb works slower than 3gs 16gb. Is there anyone who has encountered such a problem?

When I'm in a conference i can just leace the 5800 on the table and swipe here and there on the net whith my pen while still paying atention/not beeing rude to the one who's talking.
My iPhone always wobbled and i had to hold it and look like I was texting or something.
As for 3d there are ports like quake 1, 2, 3 that pretty much talk by themselves on the potiential of the HW/SW. I'm not much into gaming and maybe if i would have searched mor I would have found more than a handfull good 3d iPhone games.
As said, with the 5800, regarding the cpu, less is more and regarding anything else, it really is more :)
