after observation the people around. I found the smart, ambitious and succeed people mostly use an iphone. very weird..those ignorant kids and people hanging around the street with nothing to do mostly holding a nokia to sms and listen to music..

You cannot compare 5800 with a iphone.
5800 is the worst phone ever ill rather have a 3210

I have had nokia symbian phones up until the start of this year and their OS is so slow its unreal but if thats what you want in a phone okay its your choice. I know what is better. I could start to list the thousands of fantastic apps but then whats the point you wouldnt believe me anyway your so much in denial anyway so their is no point in discussing it anymore.
I might go and watch a bit of Tv oh yes television on my iphone or listen to internet radio from around the world not to mention the 3D games which Nokias can only dream of having. Just do your homework on iphone apps and tell me your 5800 can do similar. I could do with a good laugh.

Since the other hardware specs are same/below 5800 I'd expect to see something shining in the OS part of iphone. Instead all I see are the same results with half the battery life.

So you cant really comment about the iphone if anyone was going to buy a 5800 which i doubt as most people will end up with one as a free upgrade and then spend the rest of their contract trying to tell everyone that no honest this 5800 is really better than an iphone LOL Its good of you to try and give everyone a good laugh by trying to compare your kiddy toy to an iphone but if you look im sure one or two people will have taken the time to post in the 5800 section so pop off their where you belong and leave the grown up to talk.

And I mean works because if it anything like past moto,s it wont even do that it will be a cheap with lots of badly put together plastic junk. And dont even mention the buggy software. Moto phones great to look at but thats about all their good for but if thats what you want go for it.

arghya, 13 Oct 2009People who compare iPhone 3GS with Nokia XM are real craps.... moreThe slight upper hand of apple over 5800 is the browser that is tied to the crappy OS that drains the battery in 5 hours. Either way java browsers like bolt and opera mini are much faster than lil' safari and the experience is pretty much the same since neither support flash.(bolt actually allows you to watch youtube while safari does not)
5800 does everything any iphone does with less battery power and cpu power, has a bigger resolution, a better screen (not crppy touchpad adapted on a phone), videocall and 5 megapixels + flash and even films at the same resolution with less framedrops.=> twice the battery life in day by day use.
Now if we are to think it's also 300$ cheaper (talking without contract) the clear winner is obviously 5800.
It's awsome how much 5800 can do with a cpu that is slower and more economical compared to iphone that only has the muscle but no brain. But that's to be expected since apple only has a firmware while symbian is an operating system.

Iphone is the best phone i ever have. i've to 2 already 2G and the 3GS. used to have the nokia N95 and i like my Iphone 3GS. Phone just work and it's all in one. Imean from video, photo to music ( Ipod )great phone as i said. Good job apple.

People who compare iPhone 3GS with Nokia XM are real craps. iPhone beats XM in any kind, even in sound quality.

The 5800 is horrible to use and does not have anywhere near the processing power of the iPhone 3GS, it doesn't even have a graphics chip.

This is still the best phone ever . . .although the camera is not that good . . its one of a kind. . and many smart phone companies tries to imitate it. . . . all i can say is 'Everything Started with the iphone'
