The iphone's screen is better and touch they are not. The iphone is faster with a better Os and more ram. I love Samsung but the B7330 is just for someone that's not a big phone user, someone that just wants a little more than a regular cell. If you want a high power phone with a Qwerty than I recommend the Samsung B7610. If you dont need the Qwerty and really want an advance phone than go for the i8910 Omnia hd. Apple waited so many years before entering the mobile business, while Nokia and Ericsson have manufacture thousands of devices. Why? Because mobiles were for talking and sending messages. When it comes to software, Apple knows what to do. Apple is in the market now, and knows a lot about what could stands at the end of the road. Other companies, like Nokia, are still till this moment making mobile phones where the most important thing for them is the design and every thing else, except the software. This is why Nokia is out of date with its OS. You want an OS without many problems (Don't jailbreak it) buy iPhone, you want Oses with problems, buy others. This is at least the way where we stand now. Perhaps, in the near future, Nokia is going to make an operating system for themselves which is problem free and better than Apple iPhone. The design? Yes Nokia and Sonyericsson are more beautiful, we are not too much looking for beauty. I see two OSes, Mac and Winmo in mobile phones, the smart-phones. Am I wrong? Yes maybe.

This is just little note that it pays to switch iphone 3gs off for 5 seconds if you keep on all time as it backs up all your stuff you have been doing ive found this out and just one more.. WHO said you can't use flash player well Apple your wrong it works a treat on my Iphone 3gs ..i made my own software for it ..

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970So tell me what magical formula will a bunch of unpaid open source freaks use to squeeze the performance capabilities you are attributing to the N900, without using one I might add, which as the hardware is not better than the iPhone 3GS and several other modern smartphones, given Linux and it's abysmal lack of driver support?
This is the reason it has no MMS, is stuck in landscaoe for everything except phonecalls and has a host of other features which are absent or missing.
Now you may think a few youtube videos, specifically selected to show the N900 in the best light may be way to proclaim a phone "king" but it isn't.
Linux still has driver issues, people don't want to work on those for free, they want to work on the eye candy side so that their work is seen.
You may return to the flock of hundreds of millions of Nokia sheep, you wouldn't want to go against the biggest flock of phone sheep on earth.

I think fans of iPhone are seeking perfection, it is not a matter of bluetooth file exchange, or camera flash etc..
iPhone is nearly perfect, it is 3 years old only, you want a flash and other features, wait and see. One thing: iPhone will keep being a phone, not a computer, or a "Megapixel", or a Play Station. You want these features, go Samsung or other brands. Stop the battle, iPhone can't be compared to any Nokia available in the market, Nokia need to work on themselves to be compared to any Apple product, mainly iPhone.

The N900 can't play Facebook videos.
The N900 is stuck in landscape mode for everything except phone calls.
The iPhone can do all these things and is not stuck in landscape mode.
The N900 has much the same hardware as the iPhone 3GS.
The iPhone has thousands of top class business Apps in any category you can think of.

I really loved 3G, can't wait for 3GS.best phone ever, don't care about camera bluetooth etc.it has all that I need in the best way.the screen and touch is excellent, the menu is soooo simple.never go back.

Had fone a week now and think its the best fone ever, apart from battery but hey thats life lol. But can anyone tell me if you can get the time off the main screen cos thats a pain or at least make it smaller. Thanks anyone :-)

I have a few useful and fun apps for grown ups on mine. My opinion so far with the iphone is that it seems to be a great internet device that has many great functions however lacking slightly in the phone department. Maybe in time i will find this to be different. As for the Nokia peddalling that you are doing, I think there is a special place just for comments about the n900. It might be more useful there. Oh, and if you have used the n900 it would be of greater benefit to write your opinion rather than recite what is already written. Any monkey can do that.

About multitasking, if you by default have disabled multitasking to save battery, I don't think that is such a good thing. I mean its like limiting Bugatti Veyron's top speed to 100mph so that it wouldn't suck out all the gas so fast. And then saying yeah it can go 253mph but by default it won't. N900 has the multitasking on by default. Iphone's argument about multitasking is moot, it was not designed for multitasking since they didn't give it a battery for it.
And people talk about how jailbreaking makes iphone better? Pimp My Ride might make a car better. I want better when I carry my stuff out of the store. In Finland we have slightly derogatory saying that furry dice makes your car accelerate faster. If you need to do something to your device after you bought it, can you honestly claim that the design is as good as it should/could be?
Please stop argumenting for iphone's benefit with jailbreaking, since it is then no longer a stock device is it? When comparing these two, if you actually, really have to, compare the devices in the state the maker intended them to be used. Please? Same goes for the multitasking-war the n900 wins all ps iphone users dont read this while your in school you must wait to your mum or dad collects you
iphone = kiddy apps phone
n900 = pro phone
