bonzai, 27 Jun 2009hey guys! i'm just wondering is the battery of the iphone 3... moreThat's quite a big difference between 1 day or 2. As long it can last about 1 full day i think its reasonable. It all depends on how is your usage. More online will drain down the battery faster than using for calls & music.

Went from an iphone 3G to a Windows mobile back to a 3Gs, Best thing i have ever done!!!! the 3Gs is so much quicker.... even internet is fast (recomend Telstra) makes the 3G look second class Battery life is also much better i have been using mine non stop all day and still full battery!!

everything on the phone just works so much quicker however i did find to get the best internet speeds it is best to get it from telstra

Great phone! The apps are what make it a great phone.
But there's just one thing preventing me from recommending this fine piece of kit.
THE PRICE!
For crying out loud! £550 on Pay As You Go?! LOL No thank you, I will not buy it. I paid £400 for a 16GB iPhone 3G, and the least they could do is make the new iPhone 3GS cheaper.
Again, excellent Smartphone, albeit no multi-tasking (PUSH notifications suck, especially if you've been a BlackBerry user), the Apple app store is just excellent as well.
If you can afford it, then I can recommend it, if not, or if you don't like throwing away money, you're better off elsewhere, or getting a cheap iPhone 3G.

Simply the best phone i ever had!!!! but as the new 3GS has been launched with video facility, great graphics and more gigs, isnt it a marketing strategy to pull more audience and may be in future Apple will launch a new iPhone next year with a full Bluetooth for data tranfer. cant decide if its worth changing to 3gs now.... or wait one more yr.

Why upgrade when you can just update it? I tried it in apple store and was not really impressed, the compass was so off course was a joke. Voice control, whoopi how often do you need that.
I got a 2G iPhone and just updated it and really miss two functions after updating it compass and voice control.
If you dont own one, i'd say get it but it's not to break your head over it!
