i phone 3gs is awesome and thats all there is to is. just sold my crappy nokia n96, yes the n96 has good features on paper like a lot of phones out now, but they just aren't as good to use as the iphone. i especially hate thses htc phones - utter utter crap - cheap and cheerful tat

Dont know what was Apple's engineers thinkin when making IPhone. You couldnt forward a single msg untill 3gs.

Have used the iphone 3g for 6 months and can only say it is brilliant, best phone I have ever had and that includes nokia, samsung and se. Just 1 question is it worth upgrading to the 3gs, anyone who has changed

Even if you cant quite afford the 3GS get the 3G and download the new 3.0 software. No matter which version you get, this phone is FANTASTIC!!! Ive had my 3g for over 6months now & will NEVER have any other phone from now on than an iphone! I dont care what Nokia or samsung lovers say this still is the total package! Just go for it! You WONT regret it!

Touch to focus, component video out, visual voicemail, I think it's Nokia who need to step their game up, after all they haven't really moved on much from your five year old phone.
btw how much does your Nokia maps subscription cost?
Without paying that the iPhone easily matches it with it's native Google maps application.

Meh, doesnt meet my needs.
i require a MUCH better camera and no i dont like carrying around a phone and a digital camera.
GPS looks pretty but lacks functionality. i want native maps with POI and turn by turn voice navigation. MY 5 year old nokia is capable of it =/

Iphone is the best, its screen resolution, touch, games, battery life, camera quality. All r awesome. Iphone is the best. No comparison :-)

Dammit, Apple!
Make the back of the device, a nice anodised aluminium instead of the tacky plastic.
It'll fit in nicely with your other (over priced) products.

Can someone comment on the battery performance so far?
I use my E71 to surf net quite frequently. The battery can last me about 1.5days before a recharge. Time spent : ~ 30mins talk time daily / 3hrs online daily
