AT&T has sold out of first day preorders!
Apple stores will have plenty and AT&T will have non-preorder stock as well but you'll have to line up for it.
Here comes the juggernaut, once again it looks like the evnt other manufacturers can only dream of is going to happen again, despite the best efforts of most of the negative posters.

I bet I can get a lot more for my year old, officially unlocked iPhone 3G 16GB on Ebay than you'd get for any of those phones you mentioned in a similar used state, especially after I upgrade the OS to 3.0.
Apple products are very good at holding their value, they are one of the only manufacturers who don't charge early adopteds more then drop the price of their handsets after a few months.

Omnia HD is a Symbian v9.4 as same as Nokia 5800 or N97. SGH i900 Omnia is a Windows Mobile phone. I had it, didn't like a touch of it.

You need as phone that could stand up for you as a computer? Wait till Toshiba TG01. Its a lot better than a new apple. I had iPhone 2G, i gave it back to the shop next day I bought it, after a month I bought iPhone 3g, I sold it to the phones shop next day for a half price... And believe me I wont be buying this one... Nokia's are the best phones. But not the Apple. I have a 5800XM, the phone is amazing. Its loud, fits it your pocket (could not tell the say about the iPhone lol), looks good and it has a normal price. Actualy I can say that its a very cheap phone for all its specifications.

radios are so underrated.
i use a radio every weekend for football commentery when i'm out and about and not having it on such a music-based device is stupid.
internet radio isnt the same. it consumes power like mad and you need signal!
