NO JAVA?
unremovable battery?
nobody cares about that... when was the last time you changed your battery on your phone or listened to the radio on it.
the other things IN THE CONS you might have a point...
but honestly... the pros? THE GRAPHICS? THATS IT? really...really? Listen im a former nokia fanatic and i was all about that whole n95vs iphone debate... and i got myself an n95 for 850$ when it came out... but it disapointed me so hard its unimaginable... Sluggish like you wont believe... Ive played around with an iphone 3g and had to hide my n95 from shame. And the n97? No comment. Too little too late.

the only good thing about the iphone is the capacitive touchscreen and the app store and thats it. It doesn't have any other amazing features. Iphone lovers admit it and Iphone ahters get over it. Iphone has the best apps and touchscreen other phones have better things.

iPhone 3Gs will be another big hit, with plenty of people purchasing the phone. Alot of phones claim to be an i-phone killer and fail, Yes i'm a Nokia fan and i'm waiting till my Upgrade ends to get the N97. I think the iphone is still one of the best phones even though I don't own one.
Not to put people off the new iphone, but I saw a guy video recording on his iphone in November last year.

There is no better phone with such usability.
Huge amount of apps.
You should be evangelist or have not tried iphone if you critizes it.

PowerVR SGX graphics id verry good for gaming
Conclusion:
If you wanna buy this phone just for play a game you can buy it as you please.
But for other reason, as a smart phone it's really SUX !!

i bought the 2G from the US when it was first released and unlocked it myself
so i guess you just have to wait for the unlock programe :)

lol its easy cuz iphone haters became twice bigger than before and they rate this iphone and give it 1.1.1
so if i were you i wouldnt worry about the rating as long as i know what is the iphone and i did use one before and know it :)

emm, 13 Jun 2009is iphone 3G S can make video call and transfer file via bl... moreyou cant send via bluetooth and there is no video calling so live with it its no big deal for me ,, im getting this phone no matter what ,,
just waiting for the unlock software and im surely gonna buy it , guess i have to wait until it will be realesed here and then find the unlock and then buy it lol ,,,
ps: iphone haters stop commenting and get a life plz :)

I just couldn't understand the way GSMARENA rate this phone, i mean this is the successor of Iphone 3G, and it beat iphone 3g in all aspect in term of hardware and also the software. But why they rate this phone below then the iphone 3G? Can someone tell me this facts pls, cause i wanted to get this iphone 3gs. But this rating has hesitate from getting them. Pls advised....

Apple is releasing newer version of iPhone with minor upgrades, which are common among any other phone out there. This kind of stategy for selling iPhones is objectionable.
