Who cares about having a radio to be honest. I have one on my phone and never use it. I'm sure that there would be an app on app store to use internet radio, itunes may even already do it?
I've been looking at phones for a good few months now as it's getting close to upgrade time, and I think that I'm going to have to go for an iPhone, because nothing else comes close. The only other phones I see as contenders are the nokia N97, Palm Pre, and Sony X1. With the exception of the Palm, the others are much more expensive than the iPhone, and the palm looks like it just falls short.

i guess they had to upgrade the iphone.. they are loosing money ^_^ ...apple! put it in league with other hi-end phone out there..there are new phones that capable of doing the same touch screen
but apple os is the best i seen.. i only ask to put some new gagets like camera...radio ^_^

is voice control app available for 3.0 OS ? coz i couldnt find that feature in apple site ... any idea ?

Some few things that the new iPhone 3GS is lacking not to mention the design is almost exactly the same as the previous one:
1)INTERNAL STORAGE --> yes apple increased it to 32GB but again it is still limited without an expandable slot, especially now that memory cards are getting bigger and bigger. Nokia N97 has 32GB plus another 32GB expandable memory which makes it 64GB!, Samsung i8910/Omnia HD has 16GB plus 32B expandable (48GB) -- still bigger than the iPhone 3GS
2)CAMERA --> 3 MP?? I mean come-on now! Nokia N95 came out about 3 years ago and it had 5MP! SE has a phone coming out with a 12MP camera (SE Satio/Idou), Samsung i8910 has 8MP with HD recording. True that a mobile phone should not only about taking pictures but 3MP is just an old technology.
--> Also, NO FLASH and secondary camera? what would you do if you're in a low-light room? I mentioned the secondary camera because of the video call, no secondary camera - no video call.
3)BROWSER --> yes safari is great and all but what about Flash support? it doesn't have Flash Lite 3.0 so that means that you won't be able to view the flash video content of a webpage.
4)FULL QWERTY KEYBOARD --> we all know that the touch capability of the iPhone is the most accurate in all touchscreen phones but having a physical full qwerty keyboard is still better than onscreen keyboard, yes it is true that you'll get used to it but it'll take a while. I have an iPod touch myself and it's been about a year now and am still not used to it.
These are just some of the things that the iPhone is missing plus other small things like:
-no fm radio/transmitter
-no java
-no loud speakers
-NO MULTI-TASKING (limited to few key apps)
Overall, the new iPhone 3GS is a good phone but definitely not the best!

iphone is iphone, you just hate its popularity and charisma, that no matter how incomplete phone it is compared to others, it still comes up on top.
its because people love what it has than what it does not have.

They prob realised that people wanted longer battery lives and their they are wacking on a power sucking led for no reason barr fashion, could be useful for accessing wifi points though, if it flashed blue or something when your in range. Ive got a friend who dremmeled out the iphone logo, and put in an led himself with a circuit to the power source, looks really inpressive, completely pointless tho.

The original 3G iphone was miles better than any smartphone/multimedia phone that was out on the market. The 3GS just adds to that with a ton more features which is the benchmark for all other manufacturers to copy! It truely is a master stroke by Apple. No Blackberry, HTC or Sony Ericsson is anywhere close to this new model, they're not even in the same league..... well done apple.
