yeah! now the phone is yet totally perfect for me...coz I was waiting for the camera to have a flash...and not only that u made another for the front...I was kinda wondering at first if that would happen, I was about to buy the 3Gs but now I had decided to wait again for this new model...and I hate it coz they always come up with new models haha...I hope this would be the last for at least 4-5 years...let us enjoy the phone first. I'm hoping that when you release this phone,it can also be in the philippines asap. thanks!

I like the look of this iPhone 4G/HD if it's going to be the real deal.
The only thing I'm worried about is the microsim card slot. To my understanding the microsim card is a lot smaller then the current simcards, therefore people like me who are on a mobile plan but wish to buy the new iphone 4g outright, we may not be able to buy it cause our current simcard won't be accepted in the new iphone and I don't know if your carrier would allow you to swap simcards if you are not buying the new iphone through them. So Im al little worried there.
I'm with Vodafone Australia currently with iPhone 3G S and I haven't heard anything from them about introducing a microsim.
Does anyone know anymore information regarding this issue.
Thanks
Craig

I don't think Apple would increase the screen's diagonal length because if they want to maintain their current aspect ratio then an increase in diagonal length would definitely mean a longer and "broader" phone. The longer part is still OK but the "broader" would be problem as it would make the iPhone a bit too broad for some (read- ladies).
I also feel that the area above and below the screens will remain unchanged as any attempt to reduce that would result in a reduction in ergonomics (accidental screen clicks, problems in gaming etc).
I think the screen diagonal would remain 3.5 inches.
I will not be surprised if the pixel resolution also remains at 320X480(for a faster response time and off course, better battery life!)
I am sure they would use the best available display technology (read-Super AMOLED).

I think it is a fake. I mean the snaps are definitely having footprints of some digital modification. Moreover if you notice the snaps with the side view of the phone(http://gizmodo.com/5520155/gal-1//gallery/6) (snap no 16) you will see that its got 2 buttons, probably for volume + and - but I am sure I have seen a similar thing on a Sony Ericsson model. My guess is that some one has actually stuck a iPhone 3G/3GS on another phone's back cover and then digitally modified certain logos etc.
It is most definitely not a Apple.
And hey remember the more we discuss about this the more successful Apple's marketing guys would be.

use your brain people. the front cover is basically the same as the 3gs. some dude probably made the side and the back cover for it.

I highly dislike having "false" information posted regarding a phone that has no offical details released.
Firstly, just because a "prototype" was found it does not essentially mean that is what the final product will look like, the same goes for the specifications. Anyone remember the PS3 when it was first shown, 2 HMDI ports with 1080p/60fps output, never reached this, it has 1 HDMI port that outputs 1080p/ 60fps with select few games. Get the point though..?

OMG, the design is just awsome! Hope this is the final product and that they release it soon! The galaxy S from Samsung beats this thing specwise though! Just waiting for Nokia to release their N8 and then it should really get interesting. Till now Iphone never really convinced me to get one because of the hassle of file converting. Does anyone know if this one will support any other video codecs than mp4?? And I also think Apple isn't "inventing" Flash anytime soon, right?

As an apple technician I really recommend you don't do this. Many prototypes of the iphone 4g were created and were being tested. In other words..this is not the final product! Sources are from an apple engineer.
