The truth is the iphone 4 is a beautiful top of the range phone. For anyone to just insult the tendency and simplicity and yet the sweet sophistication of this phone means that person is being paid to devalue the world class capabilities of this phone.

Buy the 32gb as you will soon use up the 16gb with all the free stuff apple give away. Its a great phone, it does what phones should do, call, text, pic messages, camera, loud ringing volume etc.
This is a great phone, you can find any app you want from learning to cook to building a robot.
It never goes slow even after the memory starts to get used up still very speedy.
Great build with quality materials.
Itunes backs up all your content even pics added to contacts so if you buy the iphone 5 when it comes out everything will go straight onto new phone vai itunes.
I used to rubbish the iphone like a lot of people till i brought one, now i would never go back to nokia which was my main brand. Iphone for me always now.
Worth every penny i paid.
Would like a few changes like own text alert tone, folders to put keep sake messages in, but other than that which im sure will come in the future. ITS GREAT.

well..after going through the specs of my friends iPhone4..i can say its just overrated..
Apple has always this tendency to overprice its product..coz they know people will buy it..
I agree Apple makes good products..but why such overpriced i don't understand??,,
they have make this kind of hype in the market that people will buy it no matter if they have to take loan to take their products..which is utter bullshit..
only we can make or break the market i.e.Us Consumers...
if people will stop buying Apple products for a short while ...stating hype and overpriced..they will automatically come down to earth..and will reduce it price...its the people only who have made egoistic thinking of Apple..

I generally think the iPhone 4 is a great bit if kit...yes fair enough they had a few problems at the beginning but hey they got it all sorted without complaining and fair play to them...also a reply for the comment about jailbreaking...if you are complaining about people being cheap skates for not wanting to pay the handset price then look who's talking your complaining that it cannot be jailbreaked...if your so happy to spend your money then what is the big deal about paying for the applications...?
Anyway for those who are actually interested in the latest technology i woiuld highly recommend the iPhone 4...

[deleted post]good point about jailbreaking. 9-10 months ago i was gonna buy an iphone 3GS as a secondary unit to the N900 i had at the time. But, my life does not allow for operator locked fones since i live in 2 countries, and i always been against operator locks, i love freedom, im not into north korean cellfones...
the point is, i could not buy a 3GS, they are not for sale, i had to buy i from a network provider, with a plan. So not onli was the 3GS a bad fone, you couldnt even buy it in a way that was acceptable. And now i checked and could not find factory unlocked iphone 4 in any country im frequently in.
You cant use it as you like ok, but cant buy it also? I dont want a second hand raped (jailbreaked) unit that some g@y iphone lover had in his pocket next to his sweaty balls. Put that to my face to receive a call? In ur dreams ahahah

Hi all,
I last charged my phone on Sunday and my battery is now at 40%. I have browsed, made and reieved calls. I have also made text messages.
The reason why the battery is still standing strong?
I have turned off my WIFI and 3G. I keep them off unless I need to browse. They eat the battery and dont need to be kept on 24/7.

Some people like tinkering with their phone, in which case maybe an Android would be more suitable. Some prefer to buy a phone and just play games. Some want a phone with easy interface and minimal tinkering.
Not everyone is an IT person you know.
