In my case, I got an iPhone 4, even though it was more expensive than the Galaxy S. I bought it because I used an iPhone 3GS previously, and was very very productive with it, as well as entertained by lots of games that I bought.
But on top of that, there were intangible factors. It wasn't just about the list of features. I loved how the iPhone looked, and felt. I loved that it was built with nice materials. It is not just nice, it is iconic.
Sometimes, you just can't put a price on that.

infact in my country i can get an samsung galaxy s 16gb plus an basic version ipod touch4 for the cost of an iphone4,so for me logically galaxy s is a way better fone than d iphone4 n suits all my daily needs,its got a bigger AMOLED display,android market n a very stable hardware.............n yes with purchasing the ipod touch i also get access to d app store........

Galaxy S is same price as iph4 but with larger screen. but people can't argue iph4 built quality is better. N8 is 50pounds cheaper than iph4 but with lower processor and RAM with higher sensor size and crappier OS. So, iph is not overpriced. It is like ralph lauren but not like LV. samsung is like gap. nokia is like walmart items :))

oh come-on now you are going to compare companies financial sheets. All robbers and smugglers make more money than any hardworking person that mean they are good. If company making money, then you should think it is the no of items or profit b/c of high price of each item.

In fact Airtel micro-sims have been spotted by some people, leading some to believe that Airtel might launch the iPhone 4 officially soon. May be wise to get confirmation, as an official iPhone 4 would be cheaper to get than importing.

harry, 13 Oct 2010can we unlock iphone 4g to use in india.The Wall Street Journal says that Apple is in talks with both Reliance Communications and Tata Teleservices to bring a CDMA version of its iPhone to India. No confirmed dates yet, but might be worthwhile to wait at least till some confirmation. An official iPhone 4 would probably be cheaper than getting an import.

In something of a psychological milestone, Apple's stock opened for trading today at just over $300 per share, having risen 25% since late August and 42% since the beginning of the year.
Apple has passed several stock-related milestones so far this year, including blowing past $200 billion in market capitalization back in March and passing Wal-Mart in market capitalization just a few days later. In April, Apple's stock topped $250 for the first time, and by late May Apple had passed Microsoft to become the second-largest U.S. company by market capitalization, trailing only Exxon Mobil.
Since that time, Apple has expanded its lead over Microsoft in market capitalization to nearly $50 billion, although it has been unable to close the gap on Exxon Mobil as the energy giant's stock has also performed well over the last few months.
Apple is due to release its earnings report for the June-September quarter next Monday, with some observers predicting that the company will reach $20 billion in quarterly revenue for the first time in its history and surpass Microsoft in revenue for the first time in 15 years.
