Facetime is the beginning my friend, and as soon as implemented, will be on 3G and in other apps.
In the mean time, Yahoo Messenger just updated their app. Video calls are now possible between iPhone 4 and other phones with front facing camera, as well as to PCs, over wifi or 3G.

Not trying to advertise Facetime, but certain things should be explained and understood:
What needs to be understood is that Facetime is not the end, it is the beginning. It is not just an app, it is a platform that is open for others to use. There are already talks that Skype and even Android may implement it. An example, (which is a bit of a stretch), is when Apple added the Compass App to the iPhone.
The Compass in itself had limited usage, and merely showcased the iPhone's ability. What was quietly happening was how Apps took advantage of the iPhones accelrometer and compass abilities and integrated it into their apps. Now, every other app is location aware, etc, and we take it for granted.
Secondly, having just one model, really simplifies things for Apple. Just like how all BB users know, they can chat with each other using BB Messenger, iPhone 4 owners can say "Oh you use iPhone? We can Facetime" and this will be true for iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4, and hopefully iPad 2 onwards.
This same level of certainty is not there for Android owners for example, as you would not know, what model your friend is using, which firmware etc. Of course, workarounds exist, using 3rd party apps, but this will require signing etc. This does not exist on Facetime, as it is integrated within the system OS. Making Facetime calls is as easy as making a phone call.
Facetime is in its infancy and will only improve in the future. Hopefully the wifi-only shackle will be lifted. Also, we have yet to see integration with other apps. of course, nothing is certain, but personally, Facetime looks promising, and I for one hope that it will be able to live up to its great potential.
As it is, it is already making an impact, with news headlines about video calling are referred to as 'FaceTime' even when there isn't an iPhone or Facetime app in sight.

On the Apple website it says the glass is 30 times stronger than plastic. If I am not mistaken the Galaxy S is also now using this glass, and the Galaxy Tab will come with it as well.

jimmy, 12 Oct 2010once u jailbreak nothing is impossible..ok now first things... moreso to just transfer files from one mobile to other i need to first of all learn how to hack iphone (& losing my garranty) then install lots of apps. GREAT!!!! in other brands you just need to select file choose option "send via bluetooth" and it will search will tell phone available, select the one, and its done. Even you dont need to on the bluetooth manually, it will auto-on and after transfer it will off. And apple and iphone users say iphone is so easy to use. Good dudes!!!!

If company making money, then you should think it is the no of items or profit b/c of high price of each item. there are tech companies better performing on share market other than apple. And what apple told as a new thing to world named facetime i.e. video calling in iphone4, it is so old.... nokia having video calling facility with front camera in their mobiles for many years (i have seen since n70, which launched approx 4.5 years before) and most strange thing in iphone you should have a wifi connection and iphone at other end to. Actually they are just added a exclusive app for iphone which can video call. there are lots of app and ways to do it on other OSs with very high quality...
