But in a relatively short time, Apple has not only inspired many copycat mobile-app platforms, but made it unthinkable for any smartphone maker with serious aspirations to not have access to an app store. Google, Nokia, Microsoft, Research In Motion, Palm, Hewlett-Packard, LG, and plenty of others all have developed similar mobile stores through which users can browse and buy games and applications via their mobile devices.

When the App Store turns 2 years old on Saturday, it will still stand as the undisputed king of the consumer mobile-applications world. Major content providers, and mobile-developer studios large and small, make applications for Apple's platform before any other.

[deleted post]How sad that you are back, and posting the usual drivel. Why would anyone buy a phone unless they got a bad credit rating? is that why you had to buy your Iphone 4 ?

Real multitasking is so overrated on phones, very small of amount apps benefits really doing something on background, and mostly of them iphone can do too. mostly of time it just better freeze the program because it doesnt do nothing on background.

Only haters say bad things about iphone style multitasking and those are people who havent even tryed it ;)

for those saying that iPhone 4 cant send file over bluetooth or cant video call or cant do this and that.. just jailbreak it! all solved.. and u can safely restore ur iPhone to factory setting and ur warranty is not void.

                                apple multitasking is good..
u must try it before u throw any random arguments.

it is true that at first no many application implemented apple multitasking.
by now all of my apps that i frequently used already support multitasking.. and i felt that my battery still last long =)

[deleted post]Where you need real multitasking? have you even tryed the apple way? I have and had nothing bad to say, it works very effortlessly. And you dont need to think multitasking you just use your phone and dont think those stuffs you just enjoy your fast app switching. dont need to close those opened apps all the time, you can keep them "on" background because they dont slow your phone. Thats what i like! fast phone!
